who is better in the 2nd half ?

Report sarausa May 15, 2012 1:59 PM BST
Buriram is already out due to H2H against Jeonbuk.
Report lellone May 15, 2012 1:59 PM BST
Directly from the AFC 2012 competition regulation:
f) In the league system the ranking in each group is determined as
follows:
i. Greater number of points obtained in all group matches;
ii. If two or more Teams are equal on the basis of the
above criterion, their place shall be determined as
follows:
A) Greater number of points obtained in the group
matches between the Teams concerned;
B) Goal difference resulting from the group matches
between the Teams concerned; (Away goals do not
apply)
C) Greater number of goals scored in the group matches
between the Teams concerned; (Away goals do not
apply)
D) Goal difference in all the group matches;

So i think that Buriram is just out from competition. Only Ganghzou has a chance to qualify.
Report cs2007new May 15, 2012 2:01 PM BST
then gangzhou need to win since kashiwa win to qualify right, draw not enough
Report sarausa May 15, 2012 2:01 PM BST

Just realized a draw is enough for Persepolis to go through. If they lose, Hilal can give a one-goal-victory to Gharaffa to still stay on top and Persepolis is out of the competition.

Report johnny98345 May 15, 2012 6:51 PM BST
so Persepolis wins, that means Gharrafa is out no matter how the result is against Al-Hilal, right?
but Al-Hilal needs to win, if they want to play the 1/8 finals at home...
plus they're playing at home, having a 3-1-1 history against Gharrafa and losto only 1 of their last 12 at home (the last one)
Report mrgo May 15, 2012 6:55 PM BST
i´m out! cheers!
Report lellone May 15, 2012 6:59 PM BST
Al Gharafa can go to 1/8 only if they win with a difference of 5 goals.....
Report johnny98345 May 15, 2012 7:04 PM BST
i think we were both wrong

this is what you posted earlier @Lellone:

>>
ii. If two or more Teams are equal on the basis of the
above criterion, their place shall be determined as
follows:
A) Greater number of points obtained in the group

Report johnny98345 May 15, 2012 7:05 PM BST
Al-Hilal: 9pts
Gharrafa: 6 points
1st leg Gharrafa vs Al-Hilal 3:3

if Gharrafa wins, both have 9pts but Gharrafa wins H2H
Report lellone May 15, 2012 7:08 PM BST
Why Gharrafa wins H2H?? The first game ended 3-3, so if Gharrafa wins we must see the goals difference
Report johnny98345 May 15, 2012 7:09 PM BST
what?
Report johnny98345 May 15, 2012 7:09 PM BST
3:3 is one point each
Gharrafa win means 3 points Gharafa, 0 points Al-Hilal
=
Gharrafa 4
Al-Hilal 1
Report lellone May 15, 2012 7:12 PM BST
If today Gharrafa wins, they go to 9 points, the same of Al Hilal.
Al Hilal has 8 Goals scored and 6 against
Gharrafa has 6 goals scored and 8 against
The first game between Al Hilal VS Gharrafa ended 3-3.

So if Garrafa wants to go to 1/8 they must win today with a difference of 5 goals
Report johnny98345 May 15, 2012 7:13 PM BST
no because before we look at the goal difference we have to look at the H2H
Report johnny98345 May 15, 2012 7:14 PM BST
this is what YOU posted before.
just read it again
Report lellone May 15, 2012 7:15 PM BST
i'm mad, sorry johnny, you have reason :)

Report johnny98345 May 15, 2012 7:16 PM BST
hey no problem, **** happens LaughWink
Report lellone May 15, 2012 7:16 PM BST
So, Al hilal go to 1/8 with a draw o a win.
Gharafa have to win to go to 1/8
Report johnny98345 May 15, 2012 7:17 PM BST
