well done chels, jeez ive been outta the loop now for a long time but was that the most flat final?late kick off might just be the final nail
By:
well general
it didn't seem to be particularly flat untill the game started. chelsea were poor. lpool dire. we scored . it was like a morgue, worse when we got the second. then our dopey right back gifts them a goal and it picked up for a while. all in all a poor final. |

not above it at all. in fact it's getting to the stage where we feel like we own the thing.
just sad that it's not the occasion it once was. but you keep going putting your snide interpretations on things. |

Can I just ask if ur not interested in the FA cup anymore is that because u believe that u dnt hav the quality/depth in squad//concentration/season consistency to win the treble???? Because surely that is the ULTIMATE prize
Ps dnt even think of insulting me by saying I am a scoucer as I am far from it! |
By:
clearly you are a manc who lives south (nap)
By:
Lol I am a Manc how did u guess?? Maybe cause we r the only ones with the balls to even utter the words treble n only team in the league who realistically try for it every season... Dnt hate! N I didn't mean far from it literally

By:

By:

By:

By:
Well technically I was born on a plane n we were flying over Manchester at the exact moment I was born... But that still counts tho right??
By:
you should had supported airbus fc, but i guess they were not wining everything you were born, i guess you are under 35?
By:

I'd love Spurs to win it again and was gutted we lost the semi-final.
But I agree in part with the Chelsea lads here, The Cup isn't as special as it used to be. I'm not even that old, but even in the days of Liverpool's white suits and Cantona's winner, it used to seem like a much bigger deal. |
By:
dz you're dead right it aint as special as it was.
speaking as a chelsea fan we had a marvellous day yesterday, but it was only the cup. we know where we are. can you imagine if the other mob had won yesterday? it would have been portrayed as a turning point in football history. they would have called upon the deity that was liverpool football club. they would have tried to tell us how they were much more than a football club.. they would have insisted that football was about to take on a new meaningi'm afraid they are a bunch of caber throwers. |

If you were in the Green Man in Wembley after the game people certain not bored with FA Cup...Dr Aitkins hope you'll be in Munich doubt you'll be bored there.....if you make it,,,,
By:
Agree with Dza, wish we'd won it obviously but it's not what it used to be. There's been a step-by-step erosion in the last 20 years or so:
1) Started doing penalties instead of unlimited replays. 2) Penalties in the semis & final instead of ANY replays. 3) Final moved to ****ing Wales. 4) All semis now played at Wembley. 5) No longer 'showpiece' last game of the season; played on same day as other league matches. 6) Not even a 3pm kickoff, moved for TV. Not sure what 7) will be. Probably a good chance they will just get rid of all replays in all rounds and go straight to pens. |

KR - Where does ManU pulling out of the cup slot in on your list

Forgot that one Cob. Still not sure why they did that rather than just put out a youth/reserve team in the 3rd round.

Still love it although SKY have ruined it. Nothing was gonna top the 5-1 in the semi-final
