Karabukspor meet Fenerbahce, Thursday 26 April 2012 in semifinals of Turkey Cup. The game will be played on neutral ground, in Ankara.
Karabukspor ended series of six games without defeat in all competitions last Saturday when they lose with 1-2 result on Orduspor ground. In this season of Turkey Cup the team coached by Bulent Kormanz didn't receive goals, so they passed with 2-0 result by Unyespor team and with the same 1-0 result won in front of teams Rizespor and Boluspor. This year Karabukspor managed the best performance in this competition and until now they never pass the second round. With seven wins and three draws in the last ten games in all competitions, Fenerbahce hope to win this trophy. In Super league, Fenerbahce is only 2 points behind first place occupied by Galatasaray and in Turkey Cup need to do only two steps to win this trophy. In last game played Sunday, Fenerbahce won with 2-1 result on Galatasaray ground and that game was the fourth consecutive match when they scored two goals. Senegalese Moussa Sow scored three goals in last four games played and even he came in last break competition he already scored 8 goals in 13 matches played. In all the games played by Fenerbahce in this season of Turkey Cup were scored at least three goals and in last round of this competition, Fenerbahce beat Kayserispor team after they overturn the 0-2 result and win at penalties. Each team won one time in this season of Super league and every time the home team managed to obtain all three points in front of their fans. Until February this year, Karabukspor never won in front of Fenerbahce in last eight meetings. Fenerbahce is the most valuable in this match and cannot miss the opportunity to play in the final of Turkish Cup, so i bet on them.
