I can't wait for this match, it excites me much more than the fcb v cfc match yesterday (mainly because I'm German, partly because I expect two teams to play football). Newspapers are very excited, La Marca stated "90 mins in Bernabeu can be VERY long", German sportspages title "Hombre, you can't stop us now" etc.

First leg was 2-1 Munich and I think it could have been at least 3-1 with all those chances. Tonight I also expect a very heated game, like Schweinsteiger said "we have to stay cool the first 20 minutes" and they expect they also have to score at least 1 goal.

For me Munich advances to the final, because even if you can't stop Ronaldo for 90 mins., they alread did a great job in Munich. Ribery is  in a form that makes him one of the top 3 players in Europe at the moment.

My bets:
- Munich to advance to the final @2.46
- Both teams to score @ 1.69
- Ribery to score 2 goals or more

This is tough to call but I think 1.53 in the 90 mts market is very short. Based on value alone I will be laying that. I can easily see it ending in a draw.

I think this might end 2-1 in normal time, but in the end Munich will pull through

This game is a coin flip, so tough to call (the qualifier anyway) Mourinho's strike rate at these stage's of competitions is second to none, tactically over the years his teams have been spot. Mourinho's teams flourish in the latter part of a season and Real's recent form is the most impressive in Europe. The Bernabeu is a cauldron where Bayern have faltered over the years, though this bears minimal significance. In Ronaldo they have a player who can pull off anything, at any time. Bayern, combine efficiency and compactness; (proving v hard to break down) with the flair of Robben and Ribery, they have more than enough to score out there. Though their league form hasn't been exceptional, their progress in the CL has arguably been the most impressive, considering the nature of their opponents compared to Real's. I was very impressed with their home leg performance, particularly in their physical dominance of Real and how they subdued their creative players. I can see a repeat of the first leg scoreline, and this going all the way to pens. The Bayern bookings market is something to consider also. Gl to all!

It's surely a brave man to bet against a Mourinho team in a CL semi though isn't it?

Gonna take a VERY strong performance from them, which you would expect in any case, and they can deffo push them v close. But don't ya just get the feeling Mourinho v Chelsea is written in the stars?

Bayern are a very decent side - I doubt they fear anyone, even Real at the Bernabeu. Lets not forget that even though Real have improved, they haven't completely proved themselves yet. Tonight will be their first true test at European level, no one can be 100% sure they are up to it. Bearing that in mind, the short prices on offer for Real look like good value to lay.

Mourinho has said that he has been bereft of fortune in the last4 stage losing twice to Pool 1n 2005 +2006 - when he was at chelski, and again lost to Barca last season so verall he he has not been lucky in the semi-final stage in fact being most unlucky in those games.... stats matter or not ?

1.54 for an unproven side against top class opposition in a hugely important CL 2nd leg - when the pressure will be on Real Madrid. It's a great value lay imho.

I suppose the main reason Real will be considered under more pressure is that with Barca out of the equation (though maybe they aren't so scared of them now anyway) the finalist will have a very winnable game and with home advantage they are big faves and you'd presume the winner of the tie is the winner of the CL

I'm looking forward to this but I might not bother betting on it, 1.52 for real seems a bit short, so does overs. Ronaldo to score at 1.81 looks a decent price for a cheeky bet.

Real are at home so they will be expected to qualify, if they don't score early or if Bayern score first, the crowd will get impatient and get on their backs - and Real will get more and more uptight. Bayern aren't expected to win over there so the pressure is off them, they'll be nice and relaxed. There's a lot of goals in Bayern Munich these days, I fancy they will score at least one.

By the way:
2008/2009: Munich (Semi), Real (Bo8)
2009/2010: Munich (Final), Real (Bo8)
2010/2011: Munich (Bo8), Real (Semi)

Talking about Bayern being "a decent side" compared with mighty Real and all their titles ;)

And you should not forget that the Final is in Munich, a chance they won't get back in the next hundred years :)

theoretically, this game could have everything going for it. 2 of the 3 best teams in europe, and a first leg scoreline which means the first and even second goals still leave it a live tie.

7,i repeat '7' Bayern players are a booking away from missing the final and this Munich team is not a group of 11 players united as a team with togetherness, they are a bunch of selfish individual glory hunters who will not put the tackle in if it means missing the final

Madrid will have the run on the game throughout and are the better team and the 4/6 to get to the final is FREE FREE FREE FREE MONEY,they are fecking monsters at home in the CL and it will be a massacre!!!!

haha, no team? are you serious? :D maybe robben % ribery are selfish divas, but so is Ronaldo etc.

And of course they won't put the fight in because they have a yellow card, so they won't even go to the final :D
