Doesn't football already have enough diving, fouling, timewasting, cheating etc without giving players in future Champions League semi-finals the idea that they can do as they please as long as it's yellow rated not red rated?

Amnesty would not be right, as players not on yellows in the 2nd leg match could all commit 1 risk free foul in the last 10 minutes
A half match ban would be fair IMO . Reduces their chance of playing in the final without taking it away completely, as they might get on in the 2nd half

tricky call, this. clearly you want both clubs in the final to field their best xi's and not have the final disfigured by suspensions, but at the same time you have to maintain some kind of order in the preceding matches!

let the clubs buy back their players for the final
2 months wages per yellow card, a years wages for a red
player must pay half of red card fee, and no tax deductions
money to suitable youth projects or whatever

That would be quite entertaining.
