They changed the rules after liverpool won the champions league, but finished outside the top 4.
The champions deserve it more then the team that finish fourth.

i'd love them to win it for john terry......but that went by the wayside when he committed hari kari 
yeah they take 4th place teams entry, not sure when the rules changed as when liverpool won it they finished 5th and everton still got into the qualifiers.
Dessie surely beating Barca over 2 legs will have been a far tougher task than beating whoever Chelski get in the final, reserves or not they have a great chance...

No because Real Madrid are better than a Barcelona team with Cuenca and Tello. They wouldnt even get in the Liverpool side.
