I find it's easier to win if you ignore odds and only bet on things that win regardless of odds.

Of course if you are awful at picking winners then you might as well go for higher odds as you can pick less winners and still turn a profit, then again if you aren't good at picking winners why play in a market with a higher percentage of losing bets?

not sure if your analogy works sabel.  my example would be somebody who is losing money decides I will go for another goal at 4-0 to UDC instead of lumping his money on UDC at 2-0 at 1.01, he might think oooh a penny per pound stakes is rubbish, but at least he would be winning money and not losing.
