ML thats my point nothing has change re the Tories from then to now in their mind set. Only good thing is the Tory papers are hamming them. DO no it's not the only thing is we get to know more so this couldn't happen again. Twitter FB would assist as their faster the the media and journos. My point is the PM and Police tried to lie and cover up and are still doing so. |

The party in power will use the police, media and whatever means necessary to achieve it's objectives , no matter how seedy or corrupt those goals may be... Liberal, Labour, Tory ,Green are all the same when they get in the hot seat you are deluding yourself if you think otherwise.

I know Police who worked in the miners strike and on football and they have told me how they were told to police it and how much moniey they made off the miners strike.

Blair was lied to re the War even the Tories agreed to go to War we had no choice ffs

South Yorkshire police, under Wright, had been "institutionally corrupt" and was still unreformed when the Liverpool supporters came to Sheffield for the FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest.
Police mismanagement Lord Justice Taylor, in his official report into Hillsborough, published in 1990, judged that mismanagement by South Yorkshire police was the prime cause of the disaster, yet the force relentlessly sought to lay the blame on the Liverpool supporters. A unit of senior officers, reporting to Wright, oversaw that case, ordering junior officers to rewrite their statements, to delete criticisms of the police's own operation and emphasise allegations that supporters were drunk and misbehaving disgraceful. |
