My recommendation is to back blackburn instead of laying liverpool, since the draw price is about right, but if you prefer a lower variance then laying liverpool is the 'safer' option. I'd price this up at
blackburn: 2.25 liverpool: 3.5 draw: 3.75 |

By:
everything points to liverpool not winning, but for some reason i just feel like they are going to win tonight
i think i'll back liverpool |
By:
Cant Shout 5/2 Liverpool in your back Garden can You
By:
I know what you mean Rumo - I fancied my biggest ever lay tonight on Liverpool but I've got a gut feeling they will win
By:
I think bet to draw, Blackburn vry needs points..

Scorecast - Gerrard 1-0 @ around 55-60s
Had a nice weekend with Rooney 2-0 and Lampard 1-1 so I'm riding the wave! |

By:
1) Blackburn desperate for points for their relegation battle, Liverpool nothing to play for.
2)Liverpool have not kept a clean sheet since March 13, which was also the last time they won a game (Everton at home). 3)Kenny Dalglish's men have four points from their last six matches with a draw against Aston Villa ending a three-match losing streak. 4)Liverpool have a huge game against local rivals Everton less than 4 days later in a bid to get to the FA cup final. |
By:
5) Liverpool are a better team than Blackburn with better players
6) Daniel Agger is back now so his partnership with Martin Skrtel will return |
By:
are they not a better team than Wigan?
By:
Well, Blackburn lost 3-0 to West Brom at the weekend and even Andy Carroll scored against them haha
By:
Given the fact Liverpool have won just 11 of 32 league games and are on an horrendous run, I do think they are too short at just above evens. Well worth a lay at that price.

a hard game to call for many reasons.
like many here i'd suspect a lay of liverpool is the way to go but even as a fan of blackburn i have this bad feeling. yes rovers need the points but we did on saturday and we just didn't step up enough. not sure i agree liverpool dont need the win, technically i see what you mean they can't achieve anything in the league but you can see when you watch them that as a team they feel desperate for a win for various reasons. also at ewood they can play without that weight on their back. i have a feeling it's a game that will be heavily influenced by a couple of shocking calls by the officials, and that's all either team will need to sneak a win. not a big call i know considering it happens in every other game. |
By:
As backorlay points out, it will be interesting to see Liverpool's team given the cup semi final on Saturday especially as Everton rested so many players yesterday.
By:
yes. thats easily the factor that plays most into blackburns hands.
By:
if this ref was a bit mroe card happy i'd be piling in on that. still like in lee dixons write up suggests there's enough reason to think bookings could be the way to go. last time he ref'd at ewood he sent off yakubu

Blackburn everywhere for me Could be a massacre
Could also be queen kennys last game. Reina the worst keeper in prem is out that may help keep score under 8 as kenny his self could do a better job in goal The ugliest team in football should play with bags over there heads looking at spearing etc puts me off my pizza when they play |
By:
aha you forgot to mention their travelling support that will be there this eve. though it will be impressive you will notice they are yet to work out how to hold a scarf up the right way round.

lay liverpool. simple

Tony
Now I live in harpenden very nice but alarmingly near to Luton I moved here from Notting hill tho in London where I bought a house in Lancaster RD For 125k in1989. I used to sweep the syringes of my path and had hookers punting in the front garden. Then came the film Notting hill what a break the crack dens turned into bistros the hookers into call girls and I sold for 995k and 6 months later I heard it went for 1.25 m I hear the same is happening in east London Which was worse. My point is I agree with you London is a desperate and dangerous place much worse than pool I couldn't believe my luck and got out as fast as I could Peace |

Liverpool for me.
Player for player, Liverpool are much the better side and all bad runs come to an end sooner or later. Unlucky not to have beaten Villa - after the equaliser they missed a hatful of chances and with Suarez's trickery in the box a penalty or two is looming. I like Blackburn but, after one or two decent results, they are looking decidedly average again. |
By:
well, layed at 2.12 just backed at 2.22 so 120 quid whatever...
By:
Liverpool price too short as always. Blackburn have a good chance of getting points but Liverpool have a better team, tough call for me. Gonna wait and watch.
Shame that the Reading/Sheff Utd/Liverpool/Barcelona games are all on at the same time - they are the only good games today. |
By:
3-2 blackburn!!
By:
liverpool will win but the price isn't great
By:
Another defeat for Kenny and his travelling circus.
By:
on one hand you have blackburn shytt on the other liverpool crap

i'm opening myself to ridicule but i'm going to ask anyway, will Liverpool be resting some of their "best" players ahead of the FA Cup semi with Everton?
obviously Jelavic and Cahill were rested for the Toffee's is it guaranteed the likes of Gerrard will feature tonight? granted Liverpool could do with a good result (well that's an understatment) for a bit of momentum, but will King Kenneth be risking injuries ahead of their biggest game of the season? |

apologies if any team news is out already by the way, but if I were right the liverpool price would surely drift out like a barge.
By:
i put both teams to score, looks likely, both teams suck penis. and blackburn can score goals

I think players will be rested. I expect Gerrard to be rested and also think (rightly) Agger won't play either. He will be the biggest loss of all if it means Carragher starting.
However I still think Liverpool win win this. Kenny just has to say they are all playing for a place at Wembley, like I reckon Moyes could have done at the weekend, and I think every player will be busting their balls. Keeping everything crossed that Maxi gets a start and will be backing him to score if he does. |
By:
Doni, Flanagan, Skrtel, Coates, Johnson, Henderson, Shelvey, Spearing, Maxi, Bellamy, Carroll.
No Reina, Agger, Gerrard or Suarez. Liverpool stupidly short at 2.4 |
