5 or 6 awful challenges. It's as if Warnock has told them to go out and get the Reading players injured.

Please get a goal Reading.

Why do clubs give clueless clown of a manger a job
Report stu April 7, 2012 10:17 AM BST
Just to bring this back up, if they were actually just a dirty side how has their bookings not been above average this season compared to the other clubs?
Report bIGcON April 7, 2012 3:08 PM BST
Stu I think you are like Warnock himself - trying to con people. Leeds have the 2nd WORST disciplinary record in the Championship

http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/ClubDiscipline/0,,10794~20117,00.html

Judging by the Reading game it should be worse. Very lenient refs, take the Pugh 'challenge' yesterday, it should have been a straight red, but not even a booking. Plus the way Warnock is some refs will be intimidated by him and he knows it, hence his rants. It's cheating basically but it sums Leeds up perfectly

fact - Leeds are the 2nd dirtiest team in the championship
tactics for Reading game - go out and kick lumps out of their players and then Warnock has the nerve to complain about referees.
get back to your chips 'n' gravy
Report Utd Fan April 7, 2012 4:42 PM BST
I thought the game was quite tame and if anything the ref was a bit whislte happy and should have let the game flow a bit more.

Some of you lot watch too much champions league football - this is kick and rush championship and Warnock a master at this level.  He will have Leeds firing next season
Report Ibrahima Sonko April 7, 2012 4:49 PM BST
Royals midfielder Jem Karacan has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after he broke his ankle in our 2-0 home win over Leeds United.

Karacan was injured in a challenge by United midfielder Michael Brown not long before half time. The United player touched the ball first and no foul was given, but a trailing leg brought Jem to the ground and his ankle was broken in the process.

Our 23-year-old had also been on the end of a Danny Pugh tackle earlier that both Brian McDermott and Neil Warnock said was worthy of a red card.

Jem will now see a surgeon on Monday and will aim to return in pre-season this summer.

Manager Brian McDermott told readingfc.co.uk, "I'm really upset for Jem, some of the tackles did not belong in the game.

"I'm devastated for him, he's a really good guy and now we obviously all want to do well for him.

"He's played such a pivotal part for the team, now we are lucky to have other great people who can come in and will look to do well."

Physio Luke Anthony also told us, "Jem had an x-ray after the game which showed us he has fractured the tip of his medial malleoulus.

"Some ankle fractures are worse than others, Jem's is not too bad but still significant.

"There's also some soft tissue damage which in itself would be enough to rule him out for the season.

"The fracture adds to that but we will see the surgeon on Monday and go from there."

Our supporters can send Jem their best wishes on his Twitter account twitter.com/JemKaracan4

Why would I give a fook if we are the 2nd dirtiest in the league ffs. Your the obsessive looking up stats so you run to a betting forum and post them like it means something. FFS get a grip of yourself you silly ****. The amount of people obsessed by a mid table championship team is unreal. Put your coock away wipe the froth of your mouth and grab yourself a beer fella

The Pugh tackle deserved a red, I agree, nothing wrong with the tackle that injured that lad. Brown clearly got the ball

He may have got the ball but he went through the man, Brown is an utter ar$ehole, look at browns eyes on the ball in this picture.

Disgraceful, but it's what we've all come to expect form so called Leeds 'fans' and the players

Incidentally I didn't need to look up the stats to know what a dirty team Leeds are and I only did so when Stu absurdly claimed that the Leeds bookings for the season were no worse than average!

What worries me is that some people think it was a fair challenge.

I dont mind leeds fans as a whole, as their insular views can be very handy when getting behind their team but ffs dont tell it was a good tackle and he got the ball, like something from 70's, which is very leeds utd.

Only interested in the betting angles on this one, you muppet - I don't support Leeds, in fact their local rivals in terms of geography Bradford, so obviously not!
That table shows them only the sixth highest for yellow cards and below Leicester and Brighton for red cards, so how does that make them the 'second worst' then? Ok they may be above the average, but not the record that many suggest.
Report stu April 9, 2012 10:16 AM BST

warnock has turned us into a dirty team, there's no point pretending otherwise.

he's the most horrible manager in football, the only one I've ever heard it alleged by people in the game actually sends players out to injure fellow pros. whether that's true or not, I don't know. but the fact that it's even been said tells a story.

inevitable that bates would get round to employing him sooner or later.

Karacan out for the season (April)

Common theme anyone.

Have to say that the Leeds support was BRILLIANT on Friday at the Madejski.  BUT you deserve better.  As Warnock said, he always gets red cards here,  Look at record with Sheff U !  Trust the Derby player escaped unharmed.
