Liv totally out of form, nothing to play for (can't reach CL places) and already in Europa league next season. NU at home - played some lovely football last week. NU have Colo missing but that's about it on the -ve front. Also crowd on Carroll's back if he plays....no value at all in Liv prices.

I stand to land a tidy bet today, should Liverpool play as they have for most of the season

I expected Newcastles price to come in, but it has drifted which is quite annoying.

I backed Newcastle yesterday with a view to trade, I won't be able to trade in play and wanted to green pre-kickoff.

Gonna probably let it ride now, I have decent odds imo and I am not prepared to red that out

Liverpool been over rated on the match odds for a while now. Consistantly seem to go off too short, another big lay today.

To be honest I probably wouldn't fancy them even at Anfield at these prices! - not considering their home form this season.

Head to Head record for liverpool is good, won 6 of the last 7 meetings, but probably not a good enough reason to be favourites going on current form.

Last 10 Premiership at Newcastle, 5 NU wins, 1 draw , 4 Liv - so not too amazing.
I agree with Handles - some teams are overrated on Match Odds and Liverpool are always 1st on that list. I'm sure these prices will retract a fair bit as the traders are left with nowhere else for them to go so amazing value on NU at present. Grab it while you can in my eyes.

Coloccini is a massive blow but like others, I can't understand the prices. Some of the pool players have a good record v Newcastle like SG and Kuyt but 2.24????????? This is the team that beat Manu at home so convincingly.

Probably too much emphasis on the missing Colocini and the fact people still believe Newcastle must be over-achieving. Having said that i believe this money is traders moving the price or foreign bookies off-loading. I think we might see a highr price come 1pm when the 'true' market speaks.

I understand liverpool have not played as well as they should have given the players they have got still need 2 or 3 new ones in my opinion but on there day are a class above many they have a good record against newcastle won 6 of last 7 and dont agree they have nothing to play for as they have a semi against everton at wembly to impress the manager for, i have backed liverpool today and think they will put on a good performance.

be a novelty chosen imo  ..people been saying all season we have been over achieving and we are lucky aint played no one etc etc ....however pardiola getting the best out of some shrewd buys we are strong at home (manure never got a kick) and we will be off for our lives xxx

was a good time to play united though, werent they coming off the defeat to Blackburn?

seems an ideal time to play Liverpool too, having lost to two bad sides of late. appears they can only get up for cup matches

I made a thread over a week ago highlighting the fact the betting world had went mental if it ever makes liverfool favs away at newcastle.

Seriously get a fking grip!!!

Anyways Im happy. before I saw the prices I was thinking if I could get anywhere near evens I would bite the layers hand off.  The fact I got 2/1 is a gift LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

20 teams in the premiership and liverfool are 19th on the form table.  Only team doing worse than them is Wolves.

not everyday you get 2/1 on a 4/5 shot
