None of you will know me but just wanted to post a quick message. Ive not gambled for a while now and if I can get one forumite to even question his/her gambling then it will be a success.
It's a brutal past-time this gambling lark and if it's not a drain on your finances then it's certainly a drain on your time and mental health.
By mental health it can certainly be as "small" as being on this forum daily or gambling occupying your thoughts for more often than healthy.
I'm not here to preach as I know a lot of people have zero issues with the occasional punt etc.
See what no betting can do for you for say even two weeks, I'm circa 60 days and back playing golf, better relationships with fam friends and colleagues and generally happier. Try it.

Well said. I think most of us know it deep down. It certainly consumes one's time, even if it is making money, which more often than not, it isn't.

i would give up but i hate golf, have no friends and are mentally stuffed so its business as usual in my quest to win 5 bucks a month with intence stratagy.

you reckon gambling is bad for your health, experts have done studies into the effects of watching porn, they claim it is bad for men as it can give the hardening of the arteries, they may have a point there
