It depends on how careful you are with your selections and how soon you exit if things don't go your way.    It has been lucrative for me in the past though (and still is occasionally).

0-0's and quick goals kill ya

i was thinking if your selective enough you cant go wrong even if you do have the odd slip up, i think this is profitable and will keep laying draws, will keep u updated in the next 3 weeks

depends what odds you lay at.  When I LTD I always do it in play and usually at odds of less that 3.0.

its not a click and go, if thats what you're asking.

Laying the draw at HT is more attractive, IMO.
Report Platini March 18, 2012 12:31 PM GMT
^ laying the draw in matches that are tied at HT, I mean. Odds of 6/4 on the draw are value lays IMO.

its like everything on here, you have to work at it, no easy money here. And sometimes lady luck puts her two fingers at you.

it works well if the games doesn't end in a draw

it still works i the game ends in a score draw.   Green up when a goal goes in.

not if the underdog scores 1st.

Very difficult. The draw is the first price the compilers price up,
and overall very hard to beat. There are good years and bad years
and as it happens this season has been a good season for layers, the
% of draws is below the historical average. GL though.

It may be the first price the complilers price up but on betfair where punters like backing the home and away wins, it is the last to be backed and accordingly goes big on betfair.  Not always but often.

Back the draw ought to be the strategy for blanket punters, NOT lay it.

ShirleyKnot, just because it is least bet of the three options
doesn't mean the price is wrong, not in my experience anyway, but
I take your point.

Unless seeders ignore sub 100% blue books AND unless cross matching is turned off, then as backers take the home and away wins, the price of the draw will inevitably go too big.  The lower the volume, the more pronounced it is but you need to bide your time and wait for the price to go too big.

(Not always but often)

if I was going to get involved in any draw based system, it would be to put an order in 3 or more ticks above the market and see if it got matched in the run up to KO.

that's where the value appears to be, ime.

A string of orders 3 ticks above and more above that and then you pick up any irrational swoopers.

Ok i m testing this system for 1 month now. I started with 40Ε and made a profit of 48E up until now. I bet on games that have no clear favorite and  the odds for under 2.5 goals and 0 - 0 are high! I trade out at 70' if still 0 - 0. Sometimes after the first goal is scored i wait for 2 - 0 before i trade.
