I'll agree with that. Just checking the Statistics for both teams for this season and couldn't help but think Arsenal are too short for the Half Time Result at just under evens and also for the Half Time/Full Time result at just over evens.
How many times have we seen Arsenal come out and be caught napping within the first 30 minutes? Newcastle are on average better in the first half too. I'm laying Arsenal to be winning at Half Time at 1.94 I'm backing Demba Ba to be an anytime scorer at 3.7 I'm backing there to be over 3.5 goals at 2.62 |

sounds like a good bet, im also tempted to bet newcastle to win. Arsenal at 1.4? what a joke considering how poor their form has been and of course nc are no walkover team to be ignored

1-1 FT.
By:
since we got our full backs back our home form has been pretty good
By:
Not sure but don't think that Dr Kim's rationale of "how poor their form has been" rings true.
I've been impressed with newcastle this season, particularly ba. If I had to guess though I'd go for a home win |
By:
I'm on over 2.5 at 1.63 for what it's worth. Can't argue with the Ba anytime scorer bet either.
By:
I wouldn't argue with an Arsenal win but they're not good for 1.45! If I had to predict a score, it's got to be 3-1 or so. Draw - Arsenal seems a good bet. Purely for the Statistics, not looked at the price so can't comment on value.

how is 2.62 good value for over 3.5.... i feel goals... but the price should be 3 at least
By:
arse 8/15 billys
By:
Very tempted to lay Arsenal at that price, especially as Arsenal have failed to beat Newcastle on their last three outings.
By:
arsenal have won 7 of their last 8 home games. only team they didnt beat was man utd, while newcastle were crushed 5-0 in their last away game. i dont think laying arsenal is a good bet tonight.
By:
Layed Arsenal, theyr'e too short - I price them at more like 1.6.
Think they'll more than likely win - but I should get an opportunity to trade. |
By:
Went for overs instead. Two unpredictable teams but dodgy defences should lead to goals.
By:
If they can smash Meelan then they should beat Newcastle. I'm on ht/ft Arsenal fwiw
By:
I think I'm right in that this season Arsenal has only conceded 1 Premiership goal at home in inside the first 30 minutes (Saha, 26 Feb) so it doesn't strike me that laying Arsenal is a good opening gambit.

I fancy Newcastle to get something from this at high odds.
Not sure about Ba. Hes not scored in quite a few games now and very unlike him to miss that penalty last week. Though he is the penalty taker, which improves your chances. 12th march Arsenal vs Newcastle betting preview: thusprider.blogspot.com > My betting diary + daily tips |

pappis cisse to score is the bet...

I've gone for overs @1.6, pretty good deal, I think it'll be a goalfest game, hopefully anyway..

Garlic breath. Have you checked out their Half Time results for the season as well. I said they get caught napping, not conceding goals. Being pegged back in your own half means you are less likely to score. Forget their counter attacking cause they rely on Walcott the muppet too much.

over 3.5 for me price is **** , but nowt else i fancy

By:
Easy win for Arsenal tonight, something in the region of 4-0
By:
MyOhMy, no problem with your thinking, I was more refering to Arsenal layers .. will keep my powder dry for in play. I do fancy over 3.5 though, Newcastle away to a half decent team is likely to end up over 2.5
By:
I am sure Alan will be mindful of the fact that they went with two strikers against Spurs and were two goals behind after a few minutes and ended up getting beaten 5-0.

BACK Newcastle to score both halves at 6.40 Demba Ba to score at 3.55 |
By:
Arsenal short at 1.40 IMO.
By:
Arsenal horribly short at 1.39. A LAY for me and trade in-play.
