Well, you have to understand, guys, that the system must be running to capacity on a Thursday afternoon, with a big match on in the Turkish Youth League. You can't expect the system to cope.....

Who the F*** would try to update the site just before the Cheltenham Festival anyway only a lunatic would have the gonnads to try.......Plain stupidity, should have waited till after....

Love their excuse; Betfair is running at max capacity due to the high level of interest.

Must surely be all this beta sh*t that's causing it, no need for it. The site would be fine with just the classic mode only. Who cares about beta, most forumites from what i can tell have opted out anyway.

I just opened an account at other exchange. These "blackouts" are inadmissible. Of course they (Betfair) aren´t a bit worried by this because I'm a very small bettor. A drop in a bucket. But many drops fill (or empty) it.
It's in our hands, I believe...

Yep, Beta to blame, imo. Agree, Biscuit, cannot for the life of me see why they wasted resources developing it. It's a pile of cr@p, there have been endless complaints and feedback to BF about it and they just take no notice. I hope to hell they don't put it up instead of classic at some point.

if it was affected all exchanges i could understand, if it was affecting other betting sites i could understand. But the rubbish excuse of the feed going the other day, no other betting site or exchange has this problem just betfair. now today. Tottally going down hill. No compo for people with money locked in, no nothing. terrible customer service

To be fair, if everyone went off to a rival exchange next week they wouldnt last one minute. Do you think they can take anywhere near the load Betfair can?
