probably not  a game high on people's radar this evening but i couldn't help noticing that tranmere haven't won in eleven games a run stretching back to december 31st.

add to that notts county have a new manager in keith curle who has won his first 4 games in charge without conceding a goal.
tranmere sacked there manager les parry at weekend and replaced him with ronnie moore but he's not exactly jose mourinho and will not stop me opposing tranmere.

i'd price this game up like this tranmere 3  notts county 2.6

the market has it the other way round and i think its wrong so i am lookin for a trade on tranmere lay @2.64 back @2.9
i'm not sayin tranmere won't win but they should not 2.64 so anyone fancy a lay this might be worth a do. gud luck pplGrin

Les Parry going has cost me one of my favourite bets - Tranmere unders at home. He loved 4-5-1 and kept it tight at the back which resulted in them being like watching paint dry. Ronnie has promised to play two up front but there are some key forwards injured tonight.

However Tranmere also tend to perform OK against the better teams, taking points of Sheff Utd, Charlton and Hudderfield.

I'll probably avoid it from a betting point of view.

Tranmere will win, simple as.

And I speak as someone who has had to sit through the turgid dross Les Parry has served up over the last 2.5 years.

I have constantly told people to back against us, and hand on heart, I haven't been to a game where I was confident of a win in a very very long time.

I'm gutted I can't go tonight (live down south), but I will be there on Saturday, and as I said in my "Throw the formbook away" thread, Tranmere Tue/Sat double pays over 5/1.

There will be a massive lift tonight, from the fans, but more importanly, the players, who many didn't believe in Parry's philosophy.

We have injury problems, but I have said all along the minute Les goes we'll win, irrespective of the opposition.

I just wish we'd made the decision earlier as we was totally hapless against an equally hapless side in Chesterfield on Saturday.

A bit of confidence would have seen us win on Saturday, and that's what Ronnie will bring tonight.

Happy with that considering our injury problems.

Kenilworth, check my historical posts. I have continued to oppose Tranmere.

We have a massive weight lifted from our shoulders and can now play with some freedom.

We've been woeful at times this season, believe me, but we've got a decen set of players. They just haven't been managed correctly.

Our season starts now.

unheard of for me. I had another line with Hull, Oldham, Preston and Carlisle on that was in a better state than Bradford, Tranmere, Shrewsbury, Rotherham.
If you take the fact that Hull and Preston drew and a further line of Macc, East Fife, Dumbarton and Elgin had 2 draws on, I've done 8 from 12 tonight. Strange night.
