Are Wylde and Celik any good?

Basically have they asked to be released because they'll have other clubs after them or were they likely to be pushed anyway?

This is a grisly player-by-player cull at Rangers. And a trio of coaching staff – McCoist, McDowall and Durrant – might not remain intactShockedLaugh

THEY MUST BE  worthless ,or the  administrator  failing in his job , of using  every possible  means ,to  get funds together ,to satisfy  the creditors , who  he is working on behalf of .

HMRC alone are looking for  9 million  only for starters .

Everything that moves or anybody wants is a price  .

Used as an example to  clubs  the party is over  ,clean up  begins  new brooms  in soon  to bid for  the  remains  of  what  was Rangers   .

%  JOB  FOR CREDITORS  ,a few pence in the pound  ?  Welcome new prospective owner,,s  to work with administrator to  work  through the  jigsaw  that  the club has become  ,very very difficult  time  ahead   ,,no sign yet of a  white  shining  KNIGHT ??????...DISSAPOINTING  ????

SAD THAT  THEY WILL LOSE ,,   ILL GOTTEN  GAINS  OVER YEARS ,championships  etc  ,if found  playing  their own  game  ,off the park ....SUPPORTERS DESERVED BETTER....................

3 weeks today since the administrators moved in and they are still negotiating.

3 days with other clubs and there were redundicies.

This is eating into creditors money.

3 weeks for something that should of happened in the first few days - add in trying to sign Cousin on 7.5k a week you would think the administrators don't want Rangers to come out of this situation

I wonder who liquidation would benefit. Now who worked with them before buying the club and had them lined up to be the preferred administrators?

Bye bye Rangers

he is  appointed by rangers  man  ,but still a job to do , which is  turn the business round  and  back to a clear field  satisfying the  HMRC   ,  feeling is they are staying in for long term , fact it's 3 weeks up the road ...a bit strange nobody in  to  SAVE  THEIR BACON ...?

A lot of things  are very  murky  , and not been  explained too well ,morgages, any thing thats  debt  strangling them  ,,apart from a  large wage  committment  .

looks to get to end of season is  the priority ,at moment  so  still hold  league  status  come  may, time  ?already docked points  ,thats it so far  . L ISTED BUILDINGS  ETC  WILL HAVE TO REMAIN IN SOME  FORM  , so football best option for clubs , continuation ,N ew name  ,,,, who knows  , last step  ....liquidation ...LAST POST ...?   TAKEN THEMSELVES TO THE CLEANERS  ?

Can it possibly get any worse for Rangers?.....

An inquiry into the Rangers Charity Foundation has been launched after it revealed the crisis-hit club would receive most of its proceeds from a friendly match.

The Ibrox club are hosting a game between former players of both Rangers and AC Milan later this month.
It had originally been organised to raise funds for the Rangers Charity Foundation, which was going to receive 60% of all money gathered by the game on March 30.

The charity, which has donated more than £2.3m to various causes since it was set up in 2002, has reduced the amount it will take from the game to 10%, meaning the majority of the money raised will go to the club, which is currently in administration.

On Tuesday, the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator confirmed it had been made aware of "concerns" regarding the game after the change to the benefactors.

A spokesman for the regulator said: "We can confirm that we have an ongoing inquiry into the Rangers Charity Foundation. It would therefore not be appropriate to comment further."

Celtic supporters make me laugh. If Rangers go under just who will watch Scottish football next year ? Crowds are tiny outside of the Old Firm and with only one "Giant" (relatively speaking) you might as well pack the whole game up.Don't think that English football would welcome you with open arms as the English police would not allow it.

Liquidation is only good if they are demoted to the 2nd division as they will escape all their debts .

Better if they are forced to repay most of the money, keeping them skint for the next 10 years.

You are absolutely right the ignorance is laughable. Peter Lawwell is the worst offender spouting bravado and BS about how the club will flourish and become a force in europe without their rivals, the man is a cretinous moron of the highest order that makes himself and the club look stupid as frequently as he can.

With the suggestion that rangers will be unable to fulfill all their remaining fixtures I wonder if the administrators are now hoping for relegation to the first division? This may be their escape route. Chick Young stated that the only route to the lower divisions would be through relegation, and it is no certainty that in the event of liquidation the SPL members would vote them back into the SPL as a newco.
