i need 42,000 points to get a fiver so i dont think its very good.

how do you find out what you need?

Missed the £5 reward on course to reach the £10 reward.

Well worth the effort and a decent incentive as long as BF put up a reasonable target.

green devil, to be fair i've had very good offers in the past in the summer giveaway i got £250 and the xmas one i got a sony bravia 32' internet tv.
this offer is out of my reach though.

Betfair Points explained

You earn Betfair Points for every bet you place on the Exchange, Multiples or Tote. In Reward Chest, these points are converted to Reward Chest points which can earn you free bet credits.

Unlike a regular bookmaker, we recognise your wins and your losses. We take commission from winning bets only, but give you an implied commission from any losing bet as well.

To calculate how many points you earn in a bet, follow these steps:
- Multiply your commission rate (average is 5%, so 0.05) by your net winnings or losses in a market.
- You earn 1 Betfair Point for every 10pence paid in commission or implied commission.

Winning Example 1 Place a winning £10 bet at odds of 3.0, giving you net winnings of £20. If your commission rate is 5% you will pay £1 in commission on this bet, earning you 10 Betfair Points.

Losing Example 2 Place a losing £10 bet at odds of 3.0, giving you net losses of £10. If your commission rate is 5% your implied commission is £0.50, earning you 5 Betfair Points.

that is betfair being generous... wish mine was that easy lol

need to average £230 gross per day for the next 10 days to win some sort of speaker thingy.  somehow i don't think it will be the focus of my trading.

lybertyne i thought that was just a random prize draw? the prizes part?

there was a picture of a speaker and a bar saying how many points i have, how many i need and how many days.  never mind, i think it's aimed more at people who lose on here; give them some incentive to keep going.

I just joined it placed about £45 worth of bets, withdrawn £30 lost £15 now it says i have 200 out of 300. top win £25

Yes i never ever do any type of promotion, ever, but this just appered when i clicked the link 200 points reached required points 300 for free £25

why are the amounts different? mines showing 500pts for £50, there is no £25 level

well that doesn't add up at all lol

without going into detail, you haven't gave all necessary information as you've left your bank balance out of it but you'd have to have hit some pretty high odds winners to get that many points from only betting £45

barky i think they are all calculated specifically for everyone using some stat system by betfair which makes the odds slightly against your usual betting routines trying to encourage more activity from you, more bets or higher risks = more profit for them.

the reward system is varied on individuals and their betting patterns, obviously to get people to bet more as you get points for winning and losing!

Its not giving away loads of money or prizes yet, but still its better than nothing and 75.00 for carrying on as normal!

I've tried and tried for years to understand avoid decay book holidays it's madness.  How you ever get a free bet I would never know as anyone ever actually had a free bet?
I  bet a couple of grand a week and I've never had a penny win or lose

Thats what i have deposited, from clicking the chest link for the first time until now,

and 3 years was because i not been given a penny in 3 years so i sent 10+ emails all refused bonuses, i called at 3 in the morning, explained everything and got £25 free. so i was saying it depends on the person & there betting, deposit pattens ect...on how and when they get bonuses.

It's a joke! If you hardly ever bet, then you get a tiny target of 100 points or so. If you bet daily, then your target is ludicrously high - mine is thousands of points for a £10. So much for rewarding your loyal customers, BF!

Yer mine is 2900 points to win £10, unlikely!

i wonder why some people have different points target and reward... my first step was 25€ for about 1100 points, the second step 50€ per 1065 points..

When does the bonus get credited?

credit in sometime today.probably after 1pm.

mine was 1200 points for £50 and i hit it in 4 days.
ended up with over 5000 so i bet they give me an unrealistic target next time

Is it possible to see your points total even now it has finished?
I was close yesterday and want to check whether I made it and the points have only added the next day.
The reward page just says that the promotion has ended.

i made my target of 660 ,but no funds credited so far .I also could not find the promotion link (removed )so called the help desk, all succesfull targets will be credited sometime today, i would say give the help desk a call and they should be able to help (help desk ) i know sound's abit obvious

think i'll just wait until others do/don't receive theirs before asking any further questions (i've emailed one asking to confirm my points - like Njoi says, could have left it up to see if you've met it or not).

How do you know you have the facility? I assume you place a bet and they refund your stake if you lose.

why did diffrent people get easier points for rewards? I thought mine was hard to get

there were some low totals here  , mine was 10900 to get 100 quid, had a really busy week and still was 2000 short, impossible for me.
