aussies have 5 central defenders named in the starting line up. average age of the team about 82.

low scoring is my guess, maybe even a nil niler

Saudis absolutely desperate and have been in aus for 2 weeks getting ready for this match. Definately a weakish Australian side, but they have made their intention clear that they will be going all out to win this, and there are fringe players that will want to impress.
I would say it will be a very cagey match and the saudis might offer a bit of value, but under 1.5 will be my main bet |

If there's a winner in the other game (Oman v Thailand) then the Saudi's need to win this. Could lead to na open game?
Just seen the Saudi's are managed by Frank Rijkaard! |
|
By:
They've played awful and very defensive in the qualifiers i've watched. He sets them up defensively and dont commit many players to the attack
|

By:
too bad that this match is not offered in-play.
Or I just don't see it? |
|
By:
nevermind :)

Saudi's have 8 clean sheets in their last 9 games and their last 3 away games all ended 0-0!!
|
|
By:
no finishing top of the group doesnt give an advantage for the next round. next draw done in pots based on rankings.

im on AUS

Looked through all the in play qualifiers and the only game i can see that actually has something riding on it is S Korea v Kuwait.
|
|
By:
Oman already in the lead surely the Saudis will be going for it...

I can see a huge great big double decker Saudi bus edging it's way onto the pitch now

Saudi look hungry for more

You'd usually think a Saudi goal would be good for overs, but I don't think so here. Aussies are so short of pace and creativity I think they'll struggle to break them down.

backed saudi over a draw after reading a few comments here, I hope I don't regret it.

China score three. North Korea, Oman and Saudi have all scored. Even Tajikistan have a goal this morning.
Bar the 'goal' early on, the Aussies can hardly mount a serious attack. Poor backers. |
