Shazza mate, if you want to be safe and don't want to slip into loss again stick to over 0.5 and really high unders and then use the profit to put on higher odds that carry more risk.
Once I win £5 for a day I use that £5 to try and make as much as possible, if I lose it there will already be another £5 made to try again with.
I lost my money trying to martingale the FA Cup Final pens, every missed penalty the odds dropped and my bet wasn't accepted

Yeah pretty much.  You make money as safely as possible and then once you have £2 you can put it on say correct score market and make money quicker backing then laying.  Odds drop fastest from 2.2 to 1.8 usually.

shazza you need to start doing some risky bets, this will get boring and feel pretty pointless quick. i started this when you started it by putting a fiver in my bet365 account and im already on £29.46. All my bets were full bank jobs but i was more than confident they would come in.

Shazza I would suggest finding 10 1.1's then split your bank into 2 fivers and keep betting on 1.1's with one fiver and use the other to place on sure winners backing faves after they score to win HT or FT/heavy favourites like Spain/High unders/Big tennis names a set up and a break up in the 2nd set...

Good idea loaded, trying to get up to £10 tonight with a cheeky NHL bet. See if I can, then I'll give it a go.

Obviously you have to pick the right ones, but with a little bit of thought and some knowledge it can be done.  My teams that went at least 1-0 up then I backed today were:

Ecuador, Penarol, Vasco, Russia, Velez, Cyprus (Before the goal), Uruguay, France U20, Slovakia and South Korea.

The opponents for Uruguay Vasco and Cyprus all managed to equalise but not before half-time.

My tennis picks for the day usually a break or 2 up in a set or a set up and leading in games were not all big names because the odds often disappeared too quick:

Vinci? 1.02, Duque Marino?, Begu? 1.03, Federer 1.01, Nishikori 1.04, Arvidsson? 1.01, Pennetta?, Roddick 1.05, Ferrer, Michaella Krajicek? 1.22

All the question marks are players I had never heard of but a quick check to see if they are a) seeded and b) opponent is less qualified (from betfair drop down thingy) gives me a strike rate of 100%

This week i used the fact theres goals galore in the scottish lower leagues. Use what you know and dont going looking for quick results. From what i see from your posts your trying to hard to make very quick money, but tiny amounts. pick your bets.

agree about the confidence loss from losing... think we all get those runs of a few days where no matter what you pick it goes the other way.  You may think it's irrelevant but if you can get a copy of any of poker legend Doyle Brunson's books they are great for the gamblers mindset and my fave quote of his is "to be successful at gambling you need to have a complete disregard for money" and it's very true, you also need to leave emotion out of it completely.

You will be here until the end of time trying to make £50, nevermind £100.

If u look back at your 72 bets, look at the winners and losers, you'll see that most of your winners are for over 0.5 goals. Why not stick to doing that..? You can double your money every 7 bets or so. You'd have £100 in 1 week. When you hit £100, create 2 x £50 banks. 7 bets on each bank and you'll soon have 2 x banks of £100.

I'm thinking of just doing that, or backing out right winners like I did with Real Madrid today.

Back winners and over 2.5s on fav teams, when they score 1 goal on a £2 bet u can cash out i think with about £1.20+ profit, might be a safe way to get ur bank back to £50+ then risk like £4 per game, then when at £100 move onto £7 per game, then when on £150 do £10 a game then at £200, withdraw £150 and retry. with £50 starter. or keep moving up £2-3 a bet while keeping most ur winnings.

Ofcourse u dont have to trade all bets... this way so once u get to a stable bank of about £20-25 u can leave some games to run.

Anyways... thats my tip for the day.
