Lets raise a collection to save them. I'll kick it off. I'm going straight to RBS with my 1p donation. That should buy a 50% share in Kyle Lafferty. 
in all seriousness it is a sad day for scottish football, despite the fact im an aberdeen fan!
We are meant to hate them, but normally its a chunk of their fans that wind me up, not the actual club!

Geniunely don't understand Celtic fans who are laughing at this without seeing the bigger picture. Celtic and scottish football NEED Rangers. If Rangers go bust, where will the rivalry be? Even less people will want to watch scottish football, even less money will come in through sponsors, even less money will come in through the turnstiles for the games that Rangers away fans sell out every other week.

EPL no great shape Villa can,t fill the stadium against champions elect,Chelsea/Liverpool/Arsenal struggling with Spurs just a makeweight,so nothing to crow about in the EPL,crowds down all over Europe ex Germany.

yes just like it was in the 80s ?
before they went on a spending spree using other peoples money then the taxmans money when that ran out and forced every other team to spend beyond their means

As for the lower crowds that due to the current climate in our country and
the greedy players agents clubs having to up prices for the fans.

To Biscuit 1979 and Superspurs. All celtic fans know that you are right but c'mon lets make hay when the sun shines. We know that we need them, but it is a real chardenfreud moment to see the "we are the peepul" gang going down financially after previous Rangers chairmen stated that for every £ Celtic spent on players Rangers would spend 10 times as much. Because of the guilt I feel over my previously lighthearted post I will increase my donation to help save The Gers. I'll throw caution to the wind and donate 2p to the crisis fund. That's a 50% share in Kyle Lafferty plus a 25% share in Steven Davis (coz he's twice as good as Lafferty)
