How come only 100 fans protested against him at yesterday's game though? Are most Villa fans happy with McLeish? 
Attendances are down 5k or so on average a lot decided to stay away when he was appointed so he's been given an easy ride so far. And that protest was massively disorganized.
Whilst I understand viall fans are not happy they do like a moan. They have not been happy since Big Ron, I remember when Gregory had them doing well up around 5th/6th they were moaning then and attendences were down. They were not happy under O'Neill due to style of football,which i agree was not great but it seems like they are never happy.

AML is Billy McNeil II - some of the worst football I've seen at VP for years. Next four games are critical for Villa - if we don't get anything away at Wigan and Blackburn then the demonstration at the next home game (Fulham March 10) will be more significant. I expect AML viewed the City game as damage limitation hence another gutless display at home.

As a die-hard Bluenose what a refreshing change to see attacking passing football under Houghton after the dross served up by first Bruce then McLeish....
If Houghton had had the money those 2 cretins had we would be top 10 every season...
As it Houghton has performed a miracle with cast off's and emerging young talent.....the emerging young talent McLeish WASTED......and will WASTE at the Vile 2....

Corky, how do you feel about the current Villa "Golden Generation"? I remember a couple of years ago you were raving about them and claiming they'd rule English (and European) football for years.
Held back by successive management teams that would rather play ageing donkeys and mugs they paid over the odds for.
Corky, if they were good enough they'd get a chance to shine. And anyway, Albrighton seems to be getting a game recently. Not sure what's happening with Bannon and Delfouneso though.
