Correct me if I'm wrong but Zambia only have 2 players that play in european leagues one in second division of French league other 2nd division of Dutch league. Rest play in Zambian league, chinese league and other far out places. How on earth did they get this far?

I actually fancy Zambia, not sure if they'll do it in 90 minutes though.
I just think the emotion of the back story, the plane crash that killed their team will inspire them. Also they're no mugs. Of course Ivory Coast are favourites, but haven't been truely tested, and may actually find problems should they need to raise it to a gear they have yet to use. Of course it would need Zambia to score first to open up Ivory Coast, but Zambia are more than capable. I can see it being a tight affair, with 1-0 either way the most likely outcome, but I think we could be here for an extra half hour. |

Not a single 0-0 all competition despite some pretty dire football, so i wouldn't be surprised if this, the last game, conjures up a 0-0.
But i expect IC to win it 1-0 or 2-0 though. |

Good on you for supporting the underdog but look at their squad. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zambia_national_football_team Has anyone even heard of the clubs they play for? How are they going to handle Drogba, YaYa Toure, Kaloue etc. Gonna be 4 5 or 6 for Ivory Coast. |

Better players doesn't always equate to a better team.
Zambia proved that in their opening game against Senegal. I wouldn't recommend a big bet, but I think Zambia will cause Ivory Coast plenty of problems,and if they can nick a lead IC will get frustrated. |
