interesting lack of follow-up from Geoff Shreeves on that

course u couldnt shut him up about handshakes, tunnel incidents etc
Report alun2005 February 11, 2012 6:14 PM GMT
No chance of ANY British sports media 'reporter' holding Ferguson to account about this appalling lack of judgement.

Why didn't Utd sack the disgraced Ferdinand, Giggs, Cantona (insert any number of other players here) when the situation cried out for it?  Wasn't the club's 'proud history' important enough?

I guess not.

ferguson is the biggest **** ive ever come across in near 50 years of football, says that today about suarez, yet did ferdinand shake his hand.

sir alex is correct. suarez is a disgusting human being and should be kicked out of football not just liverpool. a horrible specimen.
Report mexicano February 11, 2012 6:18 PM GMT
ferguson took advantage of the open goal presented to him by the action of suarez to have a pop at the team he dislikes most.
Report neilthered20 February 11, 2012 6:29 PM GMT
slickster,Suarez may or may not be a nice person, but it isn't for Slur Alex to say publicly,or anybody else as it happens. It's only his opinion and maybe yours as well but i would like to know what your opinion and Fergies opinion on Drugs and Adultery are??????????

Ferguson stance  is correct as Liverpool already crossed that line by questioning Evra's credibility thru club's office statement after Suarez verdict.

Well, there was Fred Goodwin
Report stridingedge February 11, 2012 6:38 PM GMT
you can be a great manager and an ar*e

they are not mutually exclusive

fergie will rightly be in the history books for the former but it baffles me why people get so wound up still by the old fellas antics which are clearly designed for the purpose of stamping over the opposing clubs morale.

you mean the credibility that the fa said he wasnt a credible witness because he exagerated evidence when chelsea groundstaff allegedley abused him?

Report neilthered20 February 11, 2012 6:49 PM GMT
slickster,Sir Paul McCartney was made a Sir even though he was caught with drugs so obviously you can become a Sir by being wrong and who are you saying is a racist, somebody who the FA and Evra says isn't?
Report slickster February 11, 2012 6:54 PM GMT
well the known racist actually admitted it himself. but he doesn't think he did anything wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sky, Rupert Murdoch, The Sun, Ferguson, Manchester United, what a motley collective of corruption. Look what they have done to our football, in the case of Murdoch, our football and our country. The fact that Ferguson still calls himself a socialist tells us how immoral and oportunistic this man is. To many people English footbal is run by Murdoch and Ferguson, but it might as well be Don Corleone and Don King. In fact lets just call them the two Dons. English football merged with gangsta capitalism. Get thee behind me Satans!
Report JustaThought February 11, 2012 7:14 PM GMT

if i was suarez and said something in the heat of the moment i regretted i would have shook evras hand

Liverpool this.

I was half expecting a dig at Villa players letting down their manager. Still, he's got all day tomorrow for that one.

yes lets be professional LaughLaughLaugh
so why didnt luis take it then - cos if i'd said what evra accused i would take it to get closure

Evra has stated his side of the argument, and the FA has dealt with the rest

Suarez has served his punishment

I can understand Suarez's frustrations as I genuinely believe he's not a racist, and to be labelled as one is not at all nice.

Suarez knew what he was doing today and did himself no favours, it took his eye of the game and he had a poor one, the goal aside, which anybody could have scored
Report rothko February 11, 2012 7:39 PM GMT
OK fft i take your point

just really frustrated on how this is being used and the press coverage is appalling

both clubs could have killed this if they had wanted
Report Far From Trouble February 11, 2012 7:41 PM GMT
Agree. They've gone massively over the top about it, and the post match interviewer 'baiting' Fergie and Kenny has done it no favours either, although I guess he was just doing his job
Report mexicano February 11, 2012 7:44 PM GMT
both teams could have killed it if they'd wanted to.

quite right , and it would have done lpool a lot of good to let it drift away.

just one thought strikes me regarding the initial post on this thread.

if you didn't know anything about either team, or any manager, and you saw the post match interviews.

what impression would you take from tham?
Report DeSSieReborn February 11, 2012 7:49 PM GMT
Suarez sees this as a great opportunity of another fat transfer fee, he'll keep it up until Liverpool are forced to sell.
Report cob316 February 11, 2012 8:11 PM GMT
Not sure where you're coming from Dessie, Suarez does not have a history of making big money moves.
