i backed evra not to shake his hand will be this be a winner or not you think? he went to shake his hand but no shake took place?

The wording makes no mention of intent. If you back someone to win a match and they don't, you're not going to get away with saying "Well, they tried to win..." It's completely irrelevant how or why they didn't shake hands, or who intended what. They did not shake hands - you are on a winner. |
