Sportingbet £1 fee per deposit?????

Has been in force since the start of this month, I think.

Yesterday wanted £50 on an 11/2 football bet that was best priced 5/1 elsewhere. On balance, although I didn't want to pay the deposit fee as a matter of principle, I thought it worthwhile so I stupidly put in the £50, only then to be offered 90 pence stake!!! Thought that was disgraceful even for them. (Expected I might get at least £20 on).

Immediately withdrew my £50 and won't be using this shower ever again.

Similar thing to me but saw the charges and quried it on 'live chat'.  Before anything the girl said 'I understand your frustration but this is a management decision, I'm really sorry'

I told her she should look for a job elsewhere

I have withdrawn my balance, and won't be using them in future.

Really stupid decision. Surely put a lot of people off depositing especially £10-20 punters

LOL... I can't see this charge lasting long, But look at Betfair £2 minimun bet poeple mown at that, But i can't see sporting doing very well, I mite go laugh in there live chat!!!

Odd that they charge more to deposit than they'll take on a bet.  Pathetic book.
