I still say that this practise is unfair and if Betfair is goig to suspend the inplay market they should offer the opportunity to withdraw from the bet to those that bet under the pretense to be able to trade bets inplay.

Under normal business procedures that would be considered fraude. In others words you offer the opportunity to bet under certain conditions and then withdraw them.

For example I like to bet under 1.5 and then trade off at about 30 mns if there was no goal.

In this case the 1st was scored on the 41st mns but I have my hands tied. I allready had wrote to them on another occasion but got the same hogwash repply, read the rules.

Well my point was and is that the rules are unfair and one sided.

I could understand if it was a game in a remote place and the contact was lost, still should be given the opportunity to withdraw anyway, but a game in England, totally unaceptable.

I fully agree with you vfc...100%!

I rarely place a bet and let it ride, I normally trade the In-Play market, as I did with this game. I would NEVER have put my money in on this match had I known it was going to be suspended, which we were only notified when the game actually started. Very unfair of Betfair.

Plus...it also means our money is tied up until the game is finished (IF we have any money left!) Sad

It is a very fraudulent business procedure and somehow has to be reported but to whom?

Folks (SrgtDouche particularly!) - obviously not my area of responsibility but can understand your angst, so I will take a copy of this thread to the relevant managers
