Anyone else think Man U are verging on a certainty on Sunday?? Firstly, I am a Chelsea fan and we look a better team away from home than at home at the minute. For the last 6 weeks we have been scraping through matches and not actually looking an attacking/creative threat . There is no penetration in our play whatsoever, we may look a bit better on Sunday as I expect more space in the game as Utd will come an attack and look to win the game.
Crucially, we are without our most effective player by a mile. Chelsea without Ramires are simply very average. I am not saying he is a world beater , but the impact he has on us as a team is massively underated.
Torres tends to play well against Utd but his form has been decent in general and Chelsea even cannot or will not play to his strenghts.
Man Utd are likely to have attacking players returning to the squad from inury and fergie often tends to get his squad on a run of 5-6 straight wins at some point around this time of the season. Added the potential of the pressure getting to City and their results not being so good over the last month.
For me, this has Utd win written all over it.

I would say a draw is a possibilty, but would expect chelsea to just scrape it 3 o4 4 nil

I think utd to score in both halves @ 7/2 is a decent bet. valencia could have a field day against an unproven left back

the bhoys, yeah I usually trade after backing 1-1. I backed 1-1 in the liverpool v man utd game last week and cashed out with 10 minutes left because both managers were going for it. if it feels like teams are settling for a point then I'll hold out.

Think both teams would be happy with a draw, but i personly think man u will have the better team. Add the weather conditions hmm... has to be man united win by +1 or +2 goals.
Ive already put 20 quid on man u to win while at the pub coz bookies across the road and both mixed together make you do gallable things

I think the newcastle vs aston villa looks more entertaining goal wise.

United fan signing in. I normally fear the worst when we come against one of the top 4/5 teams away from home, but like the author of this thread, Chelsea have looked nervous and ineffective going forward at Stamford Bridge.
I went to the Chelsea/Fulham game on boxing day (it's a long story) their performance and attitude was startlingly poor. The Bridge seemed a soul less place on the day.
