Exactly, it's all political. Al Ahly fans are said to have been amongst the main culprits in the recent political unrest in Cairo and for attacking police, and it's thought this was payback, which goes a long way to explaining why there's next to no security at the ground and the security that was there, was seemingly letting the fights go on
