I wondered whether that was you or not.

The real value in twitter, imo, is timely information.  You will get news ahead of the rest if you follow the right people. Some people also consistently put forward opportunities that actually carry logic despite the characters limitation.

I would suggest that you take a look at who some people you respect follow add a few and see how it goes.  Deleting is easy if they don't float your boat.

You will also find noise levels distracting if you are using twitter primarily as a source of timely price sensitive information. Accordingly some of the suggestions made above, I would not follow simply because of their volume to usefulness ratio.

People clearly don't use twitter to seek out profit though.   I put a tweet out an hour ago that pointed up free money and incorrect prices.   The free money is still there.

If you want to use it as a social network then you can post to your hearts content, but you will soon lose me fairly quickly. If you want to use it as a betting tool then you can say nothing or say something.

Okay - so I've decided how I will use Twitter.  I won't provide betting tips (not my thing).  But I will use it to give my thoughts on the in-play matches I'm doing - hopefully it will help me concentrate more than on this place (which provides too many amusing distractions).

Is there a different interface to Twitter that is not so large?  The website is in super-size font - takes up too much space.
