Yes there is always a chance of that. BK have to get something from this game. If it is nil nil nearing half time the green up is cheap as chips so a tight first half will surfice.

Not a fan of laying 0-0 or AU, like laying scores because you have more factors in your favour, but sometimes prices look wrong so you have to go with your gut reaction

I have been laying correct scores this month,and have had a total of 23 selections,with three of those selections being unsuccessful.

I started the month by lodging £500,and concluded my betting for the month of January today,with a balance of £575.I have withdrawn the £75,to leave £500 in my account.

I am not sure if I will continue with it or not,to be honest is it worthwhile,any opinions greatly valued.

Nothing wrong with 75 profit, it is certainly hard work. There certainly is no easy way. Correct score betting is like walking through a field of landmines or playing a game of snakes and ladders.

Agree! Sometimes i go on a winning streak (mostly luck), then all-a-sudden, one loss cud wipe out nearly my whole profits for past few days. Hard work and very stressful! I sometimes wonder why i do it??!! Winning £75 is better than a loss of £75. The main thing is that your experimenting with your selections over that period and hopefully figure out a betting strategy that suits you and make you money!

G Hall,I dont think 1 month is long enough to decide whether its worth it or not,i think you need to test over at least 6 months to get a true view on the system.You say you ONLY made £75 last month,you might make £1000+ this month,or you might make a loss.I think it depends whether you want the system to work

For February I will try and get the 500 to 700,withdraw 600,which will guarantee 100 profit,and try and build from the remaining 100.If it is lost I will wait until March to continue,ensuring a profit of 100 minimum for the month.

I meant to add it is all net profit,as I have allowed for all commissions.

Thanks Smithy, I have layed a few more over weekend on mobile as away watching Pompey @ Blackpool but don't include those on thread unless I can post it. Unquoted can be so dodgy ie Spurs, West Brom but if you avoid the pitfalls there is so much value there and I will green out if no goal in first half as it really does cost peanuts.

An update for anyone that is interested,further to my post on 29th January.

I started February with a bank of 500,laying correct scores and my first bet was to lay 0-0 in Bolton v Arsenal which decimated my bank leaving me with a balance of 220.

Since then I recovered well and ended with a balance of exactly 700 after commission and a profit of 200 for the month.I placed 32 bets of which 3 lost.I did however go big on a couple of games namely Barcelona/Valencia and Tottenham/Arsenal where I backed over 1.5 and over 2.5,which is maybe slightly different from laying correct scores.

i stopped laying correct scores after accumulating a healthy profit only to hit a bad run. horrible when you lay AU and its 3-0 at half time. good luck though mate and atleast your in profit.

the last time blackburn kept a premier league clean sheet was april 2011 a run lasting 29 games.

May was a rollercoaster,with 46 bets 42 of which were successful.I would have blown the whole lot and had a minus month,but thankfully I got a 91st minute goal in Iceland last night.

Gary Hooper cost me 150 by kicking a ball into the net,which was ruled out,if he didn't touch it then a legitimate goal.I also had three other losses,but ultimately got lucky.

A profit of 460 would have been more but got caught on Spain/Honduras laid 0-1 at HT ouch!!

It was so far the most stable month,no close shaves or irrational bets,I'm quite happy with it,and puts my profit at 2820 for the year so far.

good to read this thread (parts of it anyway), laying the score is something im going to look into so if this is still going ill be watching.

Hi G Hall, Very well done on your profit - excellent returns. Can I ask what liability you lay to ? It is interesting as I actually do the opposite and dutch correct scores often trading out. The liability is frightening on the lay side although some AU score does offer good value. I will follow with interest. Good luck.
