Yes, I am just waiting for the Aussies to get moving.

By:
home win for me
By:
anyone know much about this?
By:
3.7 a decent price to lay Wellington imo. Unsurprisingly being based in a different country doesn't do their away form any favours.
By:
overs a nice price 2.68???
By:
still the bare minimum 6 markets, pathetic. i'm boycotting this junk.
By:
Sorry, 7!
By:
I can see a home win with unders along the line...
By:
It is only the match odds and 2.5 markets that are competitive. In play volume is generally poor if a J League game follows. 7 markets is too many imo.
By:
4 of home side last 5 games have been unders
last time two teams meet it was 3-3 1-0 Gold Coast for me |
By:
But they offered 20 markets for a game last week that had 6k matched in Match Odds.

I been following the A-League the last three years I can say that I have found it intresting and it is nice to have a couple good games to play along the weekend mornings untill the real games start...!!

Gold Coast United had a very slow start to the new campaign securing just two points in the first three rounds. However, the 1-0 home fall against Melbourne Victory (August 26) has been the only setback for Miron Bleiberg's team, who have only played seven games.
Gold Coast bounced back after the Victory loss to win 1-0 in Perth (Sept 19), draw 0-0 at home to the Central Coast and then account for the Newcastle Jets 1-0 in a midweek fixture at Skilled Park On September 22. Last Sunday there was a 1-1 draw away to champions Sydney FC - a notable achievement given it was the third game in a week and the Queenslanders played with 10-men after defender John Curtis was sent-off in the 68th minute. Goalkeeper Glen Moss rescued his team with a stunning injury-time save which now leaves the Gold Coast in seventh position with 10 points but just two behind second-placed Brisbane. Bruce Djite equalised against Sydney, scoring his first goal in four appearances since his move from Turkey. You wonder whether the Wellington Phoenix will be affected by the off-field dramas surrounding the financial issues confronted by owner Terry Serepisos, who was threatened with legal action over unpaid player levies of around $260,000. The Phoenix are in fourth position on the back of an unbeaten home record, which included a last round 2-1 win against North Queensland Fury at Westpac Stadium. Wellington has lost just once in their last four games - a 2-1 fall at Melbourne Heat in round seven. The Kiwis had a brilliant start against the Fury with Chris Greenacre (3rd min) and Leo Bertos (12th min) establishing a 2-0 lead before conceding a goal in the 67th minute. Wellington was without two key players - Tony Lochead and Paul Ifill (7apps/3goals - 37/16-overall). In round two of the 2010/11 campaign, it finished 3-3 between these teams in Newcastle after a double striker from Chris Greenacre had given the Phoenix a 3-1 lead in the 55th minute. In fact, the Phoenix has not lost against Bleiberg's team having won 6-0 and 1-0 and drawn 0-0 in 2009/10. I think Wellington is good value to steal a draw. |
