I'm no Liverpool fan but they haven't had a decent manager since Bob Paisley.
Fagan and Dalglish had the benefit of inheriting a decent side, although you could make a case for Dalglish based on the signings of Barnes,Beardsley and Aldridge.
Souness attempted a rebuild and was not up to the job, terrible signings.
Houllier had cup success but could not a produce a side that threatened in the league, more terrible signings.
Benitez can point to winning the CL and had some fortune in doing that, subsequently lived off of it for the rest of his tenure.
Hodgson now has a problem. Shame to pick on Konchesky, but the fact that this is the calibre of player that the club is now in the market for is indicative of how the club is sliding, a slide that doesn't look like stopping too soon!!

Look at the RUBBISH that deplorable character Hodgson has brought in. KONCHESKY, POULSEN, J. COLE, JOVANOVIC, MEIRELES - ALL CRAP!
Then has the audacity to let Mascherano, Riera, Degen, Insua, Benayoun etc leave, all QUALITY players. A club in decline. Absolutely disgusting club Liverpool, pathetic. Really pathetic.
