Came back from  holiday recently with runs (this was brown emulsion if you get my drift) went to doc and he told me to ask receptionist for stool sample jar on way out. Did this in front of packed reception area and returned it a day later also in front of packed reception area - still go feckin red at thought of it. All clear TF.

Not sure what's stranger, taking a dump in front of the reception area or holding onto it for a day before returning?

When I used to work in hospitality you had too visit the doctor to be signed back to work if you had the runs...This always involved a stool sample...Company I worked for did not pay you for the 1st 3 days absence so too quicken up the stool sample process I just shat in a lid of a anti perspirant tin...Wrapped it in foil and handed it in at my 1st appointment....Doctors face was a picture when I handed it over Laugh

Why I am telling you tools this I will never know....

I had a haeorrhoid operation ten years ago, and the doctor told me to come for a check-up a few days later, and he said to bring in a stool. "Actually, I prefer to stand at the moment," I replied innocently. At the doctors he again asked for a stool and I provided one in a tube he gave me. "Won't that go all dry before you send it to the laboratory?" I asked. "No," he replied, "it will be there in five minutes; we use a stool pigeon".

i handed in a stool sample in woodwork class in 1982. teacher only gave me a C grade (said one of the legs was wobbly!!).
I had the last laugh. Only one of the legs was good, it was the other two that were wobbly. How I laugh when I look back on this.
