How would you of felt during the world cup when our goal wasnt allowed if the players sat down or walked off the pitch? I was having a drunken conversation with my dad yesterday about it and he thought people would of respected them more in the country for doing it and others around the world as well. I said at first nah i would of thought they muppets but changed my mind and said nope i would of repsected them more actually as Germany have to cheat to beat us... Thoughts?

I'm assuming this is a fishing expedition MM, but of course they can't walk off - giving up, showing lack of battling spirit, throwing the toys out the pram etc. is no way to go about.  These decisions are currently all part of the game too.

They would have been ridiculed around the world for the petulant, childish sad tw@ts that they are. And rightly so.

What's more, only people with a similar, childish, "I must have my own way", "I'm always persecuted - it's not fair", chav like mentality would even dream of supporting such an act.

Germans did not cheat to beat us, unless you think playing aggressive attacking football, with players who can actually think about the game and not run about like headless chickens is cheating.

Germany should have stopped playing and let us score a goal, that would have been a great act of sportsmanship and I'd have loved to have seen Sepp Blatters face.

Felt sorry for the Mexicans v Argentina too they started well but fell apart after the offside goal was given.
