As a Celtic Season ticket holder I have had my low times recently, VERY LOW TIMES.
However, last night is an ultimate low, out of the CL already, spent £££Millions on very very average players.
Mulgrew??? Aberdeen Class
Ledley?? Not Good enough for my hoops
Hooper?? Utter dross.
Add these new signings to the other duds, Samaras, Brown, Fortune, Maloney and we are deep in trouble.
McGeady is jumping from the sinking ship before its too late, he doesn’t want to play here, he knows that Lennon is clueless and wants out…. NOW.
Onto the ‘manager’
What a joke Lemon is, clueless, no tactics, no man management, no guile, no dignity, no class, NOTHING, he was an average player and is a below average manager.
He has now had 3 important games in charge of us, 3 FAILURES.
I am deeply concerned that Glasgow Rangers will again win the league without spending a penny, I can see 3 in a row from here, and it worries me, big time.

He should never have got the job after Ross County. How he got the Celtic job is beyond belief. I'd be rubbing my hands with glee if Fat Ally got the hotseat at Greyskull as he will be the same nonce for them unfortuanely they are are not that stupid and Celtic are that stupid.

Been saying this for many years now guys - the death knell was appointing that little ginger pr1ck - gordon strickeen - the club went into melt down then - who presides over all these fiascos.........Mssrs desmond, lawless and warmongerer reid (Dr. death) - there will be many more strickneens, lennons and oh-nobrows while these idiots are allowed to run this once great club. The solution guys....? vote with your wallet, dont renew your season books, don't buy the merchandise, stay away from park head and 'change' will be forced OR the club will die....... where is Fergus when we need him....?????

I was thinking about Fergus myself today. Building a staduim 199 a season ticket and we still had Cadette and Di Canio and scintialting football (yes no trophies but entertainment).
For five years Celtic have been rank rotten and it is this board's cheap petty attitute starting with the appointment of the ignorant little runt Strachan which started this demise. Lawell and Reid are reaping what they sowed 5 year ago. |

SB----don't you realise that the only reason Neil Lennon got the job is because he was the cheapest option.It cost the club around £4m to hire and fire Mowbray and his retinue of coaches.There is no way Celtic wanted to risk going down that road again.

Hussard, I stopped my 'financial support' of the club when Strickneen was appointed (though I prefer your description of him - indeed what an ignorant little runt he is......!!) we have been in steady demise and sad as it is to say, when these 3 amigos (lawwell/reid/desmond) see empty seats at Park head and the money drying up from honest hard working people who through their support keep the money rolling in, then they may opt for some change - they would need to before they ruin the club irrevocably. These guys have bled the supporters, taken them for morons and abused their stewardship of the club - they need to be GOT RID OFF before we move forward. The only solution open to us as a way of protest is to BOYCOTT the stadium - change will come only if it is forced upon the current breed of thieves, gangsters and charlatans..... ..... ........ ..... ...... (remember how reid once described MoN.....? unforgivable things to a man who brought us to the top of Europe!)

sasa, as everyone on here knows, i am a neutral, but i must say, i admire your honesty and integrity when describing the "goings on" at your club, you must be distraught with with the current state your club is in. please don't do anything foolish, concerning your wellbeing, there are "people" out there who could help you, the forum needs decent honest posters like yourself, and good luck in your next European away match. as always, cheers.

Lennon is clueless and we've sold the best two players for the past five seasons I presume you disagree with that though. Lennon is not a football manager he is a complete and utter nobody as a manager and he is charge of one of the biggest clubs in Britain. WHY DID HE GET THIS JOB ??? It's because Celtic are cheap under Lawell and he will pay at the gate this year for that cheapness. I don't care if the others don't follow Celtic because I do and I've been there for 25 years under Brady and Barnes and Lennon is exactly like them - first managerial job and look how they did ! |

why not save 5 million in transfer fees and get a manager proven at champions league level? celtic on average throw away a few million in pointless transfers every summer anyway...
hooper, fortune, samaras, ledley... when was the last player celtic brought in who made a big difference? mcdonald was your last decent striker and he's gone. samaras and co are fine for the premierleague but totally out of class when it comes to the champions league. |

This is 2010 and Scottish Football is in decline. Celtic have a budget to stick to as times are tough getting revenue. There is NO money worth talking about coming in from TV rights. Sky TV & the EPL has ruined the game for the SPL clubs. It will be many years before a TOP player comes back to the Scttish football.

The pretence of some fans is a big problem.
Take krispykin for an example, shouting out like a billy big shot. Lay me an even 10k on celtic to win the league. It doesn't matter if you have 1pound, 10pound, or a great big gee whizz 10k like krispbhoy. If someone gave you even money to your quid or whatever for an odds on shot you would snap his hand off. Krispy thinks flashing his "wedge" about will make it all better and prove a point. I'm sorry krispy, you may well win a few quid on this one. But the deterioation shows no sign of stopping. I couldnt care less about them, i would rather we discuss our club, the Famous Hoops, we are in a complete mess right now and with lennon in charge i can see our rivals winning 3 in a row. The problem is rightly that so many Celtic fans are misled by the spin and dirt thrown from lawell and reid. We've held your season ticket prices so roll up it's good value. It's 500 to watch utter tripe and it is shocking value. The other teams are awful and our own team is spiralling to their standard. Boruc was the best goalie we've ever had - sold for a pittance. McGeady was our best outfield player until he gave trying with the incompent p!sh alongside him - sold so Lawell can wave our bank statement around like the tropthies we're not winning ! The Celtic support feel they have to back Lennon cos it is against our "way" if we don't back him. They all need to be sent packing Lawell, Reid, Desmond and LENNON ! |
