I reckon if they said to the 20 Premier League clubs: if you pay us what we'd have made on the match, that they would do.
FIFA may set aside this date for friendlies but it doesn't mean you have to have one. Anyway, international friendlies are (or should be) obsolete. International football is one of the most ill-managed aspects of football. Friendlies should be abolished, pointless nations (e.g. Andorra, San Marino, Luxembourg) taken out of qualifying, etc. Huge amounts of money are being missed out on by FIFA/UEFA. |

I wouldnt bother turning up if i was a player ,King,Carragher and Scholes didnt bother and all got called up for the world cup squad ,deapite the clown (Capello ) saying all players must turn up for squads , in fact they should retire and then wait for the call up , the FA are a joke .
