Don't forget Rubin have conceded only 3 goals all season and while Zenit are undefeated Rubin are a counter attacking side who could quite possibly get something from this.Zenit ddi play in midweek but i doubt this would of affected them too much.

damm just traded out on Zenit before that goal would have made a bit more, couldn't see that goal coming at all to be honest.

yup, sums up my luck in recent games, just a goal from nowhere, still though, when you give the ball away to the opposition time and time again you will get punished and that's a perfect example of what's happend here, rubin failed to string 3 passes together going forward, simply not enough.

no bet on this but would be suprised if zenit run away with this one esp. after midweek game. Zenit do look a dangerous side this year and could be dark horses for a good run in the champions league

game over now, shambolic effort all-round from Rubin, showed no invention whatsoever

Meira and Rossina have been outstanding today.

Thought the loss of a few key players last year would have hurt them, but it looks like they've brought in some quality players to replace them and the appointment of Spalletti couldn't have hurt either, running away with the Russian League and sure to be a big achilles heel for anyone in the Champions League!

I agree I think they will go far but they could do with a top quality wing back as I think they are a little weak in this area.
