unlike gerrad and zizou cole, mascherano has ambition and he wants to go to real club that can actually win trophies.

Man City need a defensive midfielder.....

Mascherano now becomes the greatest holding midfielder in Europe in the eyes of all those people that abused him while he was at Liverpool!

his wife isn't happy in the UK, he'll fit right in with all the Argies at Inter. Thing is Rafa valued him at £40million last season so how much will he offer?

Tend to agree the clowns on here who abused him ,regard him as class all of a sudden

Fine by me,pretty sure we can replace him with less than we would get for him.Good player, but fairly easily replaced imo.

I thought he hated Cambiasso and Zanetti.

Holding midfield player who can tackle and break up play and very good at it.Dont do a lot else though, and like i say should be replaced without too much fuss, and a profit to boot i would think.
Good business for player and club. |

He aint the best in the world, in fact i would say not much better(if he is!!)than Scott Parker to be honest. We aint talking Ronaldo or Messi standards here, this is holding midfielder position!!
Does his job well fair enough, but i am sure their are a few around that can do a similar job,i would be confident of that. And not costing so much. |

Tackling and being in the right position is an art, he is as important to a team as a 20 goal a season striker. People who play and understand football will understand this.

Very good player, always will be. But if he wants to go then fine we don't want any player who doesn't want to play for us.

A very good player but still not fit to lace Didi's boots.
Given a choice between keeping the mardy-arsed, pen-hecked by homesick-wife, sideways-passing, constantly-moaning-at-refs, peanut-headad get and replacing him with a similar player for much less while adding some money to the pot for a creative player then I'm not alone among reds fans in opting for B. |

He has suffered long enough playing for such a loser club

only sees the European champions as an alternative though.

Quiet agree, but easier to replace a holding midfielder than a 20 goal a season striker imo.As i said i am confident he could be replaced by a player that would do the job at a better price.Would not be so confident at replacing Torres though!! |
