when i last lived in gorgie it was difficult to distinguish if there were more greens or blues in the area.
the only times the pubs are busy up there are when either are playing in europe, same all over edinburgh, hence the capital teams poor turnouts.

been there 3 times watching my team since i lived in edinburgh but used to goto a few hearts games 5-6 years ago when i lived there, not a bad ground and decent group, hardly followed fanatically tho.

its so scottish people have something to bet on and an excuse to drink!
and you forget, they have a huge winter break and STILL have to play each other 4 times. Belgian league is more stupid though, if you dont get relegated you qualify for europe.

Here's me thinking Aberdeen were in with a shot at the title this season, only to have those hopes dashed by our clever English premiership fans who summed our league up in four lines.
Fair play though, his argument was original.

OK Juan, I bow down to your superior intelligence...but just have a read of this:
Illusory superiority is a cognitive bias that causes people to overestimate their positive qualities and abilities and to underestimate their negative qualities, relative to others. This is evident in a variety of areas including intelligence, performance on tasks or tests and the possession of desirable characteristics or personality traits. It is one of many positive illusions relating to the self, and is a phenomenon studied in social psychology.
Illusory superiority is often referred to as the above average effect. Other terms include superiority bias, leniency error, sense of relative superiority
Cognitive ability Intelligence
One of the main effects of illusory superiority in intelligence is the Downing effect. This describes the tendency of people with a below average intelligence quotient (IQ) to overestimate their intelligence, and of people with an above average IQ to underestimate their intelligence.
