i think people are overestimating how good chelsea and man united are, well let me tell you they aint what they use to be, they aint no match for barcelona or real madrid.

I reckon this year is citys best chance to win the title and i think they will do it.

I will be stunned if City win it.  The club has had a losing mentality for many years and it will take some time for all the mercenaries to gel. Probably Chelsea will do it again.

Chelsea and Manu have the experience of winning, of pulling out the results when it comes to the crunch. City, the team and the supporters, don't have that yet. You could see at the end of last season when it came to the crunch games we couldn't quite do it

we'll have a far better team this season, no doubt, but i think the winning mentality isn't quite there. Probably worth waiting until the season starts before laying them though, i think a couple of big names will come in and drive down the price

blackburn dint have experience, sugar dady comes and throws money in and bingo they win the title, then chelsea do the same thing, never came close to winning a title in 50 years, same losing mentality but sugar dady comes and throws money in and bingo the problem is solved.  Now man city aint just nobody they have the richest owner there ever was and his spending more money then all the sugar daddies put together.

So dont give me chelsea and man united have experience, its all about the cash, the more u spend the more chance u have winning

I certainly won't be backing them at those odds anyway.   Not laying them yet either till I see what happens in the next few weeks.

Chelsea with a a fully fit Essien will go very close especially if Malouda continues to play at the level he managed last season.  I'd say Arsenal look like the dark horse of the premiership, adding the usual Man Utd into the mix, it's a 4 way fight and I'd make City the most unlikely of those 4.
Report mafeking July 27, 2010 1:14 AM BST
city's money should eventually get them over the line but highly unlikely to be this season. experience counts for a huge amount especially in the run in. only once in the last 25 years has a team from outside the top 3 won the title the next year.
