Northern Rock it said on the front and it had black and white stripes.
So I asked him if we was from up north and yes said he was. I then asked him whether he was a Sunderland supporter. He said no he was not. I went onto enquire whether he supported Boro. At this point I think he probably had worked me out.

He was quite bright this bloke. He had a kiss with the barmaid and I simply asked if they knew each other to which he responded that he did.
The Sunderland supporter comment had him a bit puzzled but I think he worked it out eventually. |
