It'll never take off in a big way. It gives slightly more depth to procedings, that's about it. In exchange for this you have to sit like a knob with the specs on, and have a headache if you watch for longer than a couple of hours.

Doesn't come close to HD in terms of viewing quality, and won't come close in terms of having any actual market.
