there was 15k laying usa which was nibbled at down to 5k. didnt see any big bets |

i think it was alot of smaller 1-2k bets which might appear as 1 large bet if you have a slow refresh

i saw the 15k (i told my £2 out of it as well) and lots of other people peppered it down to 5k just before the goal

All it takes it a couple of database technicians at bf HQ to write a server-side script to be first to fire in a bet after the market unsuspends. Or even just bet locally so there's no internet delay.
Their bet will already have started counting down before we (at home) have even seen the market unsuspend. People just get their knickers in a twist when someone is faster than them. It was the same with the SIS pics when someone had a faster feed. All the same names moaning because their flow of free money has dried up as a bigger better fish has come along. |

Money being hoovered before the suspend is getting quite common now. I noticed it happening at least five times yesterday.

Yea, tahts a different issue.
Apparently, people think that someone has found a way to get around the clock. So lets say its a 5 second clock on a football match. After goal goes in and market reopens people get their bets in after like 3 seconds. I just dont believe it. |

By the way which markets are we talking about. Match odds? So you're saying that on an 8 sec game ppl get their money in the market 3 seconds after the goal goes in?

Did you not see the screenshot I posted?
I took it right after the Suspend had cleared. Even if the suspend cleared 1 second late on my screen, that still doesn't account for the 4 seconds difference. Even if I were TWO seconds slower, that's still a 3 second advantage. |

im not slow either. i can get my money in and be first the queue after a suspend.

watch a prem game and you can see soemone is a good 4 seconds ahead of everyone |

soon as markets open i put a bet on it counts down couple seconds later someone else bet is on and im still there waiting for my bet to go on i emailed betfair and they fobbed me off with everyone has the same time |

Anyone who has a fracsoft account can grab the data files which are timestamped. They would show something like this for the world cup games.

thats mean to be seconds not minutes, but you get what i mean. I bet the logs dont show that

The log will always show bets matched after the clock (or atleast that im expecting they show).

Next time you suspect its happened email betfair and ask them for a breakdown of the management of that market. Time suspended and first time bet was matched after the clock opened. Providing you're not asking for volumes they should give you it.
