Anyone who has a fracsoft account can grab the data files which are timestamped. They would show something like this for the world cup games.

thats mean to be seconds not minutes, but you get what i mean. I bet the logs dont show that
The log will always show bets matched after the clock (or atleast that im expecting they show).

Next time you suspect its happened email betfair and ask them for a breakdown of the management of that market. Time suspended and first time bet was matched after the clock opened. Providing you're not asking for volumes they should give you it.
I know, me neither. But thats how the debate can be resolved once and for all.
can view the cached version but can't view their prices. are they expensive?

Betfair let you download the data files from data.betfair.com but they arnt time stamped so pretty useless. They give the timestamped version to fracsoft who sell it on.
Just looked at their price page, they sell the data per market (rather than 1 big file or subscription).

Rocket its deffo not keep bets getting matched off each other? Thats all I can think of if its above board. Apart from that it looks dodgy
Betfair said that keep bets (and crossmatching) is subject to the same clock as everyone else 
if that were the case misspoker we'd all have keep bets in place to take advantage of it!
