Amazing! Fulham will do really well if this true.

Hodgson leaving may be a blessing.

it all depends whether Al Fayed is willing to pump a fair bit of money into a contract and warchest.. and word on the street is that Al Fayed is looking to take his Harrods profits and leave the country sooner rather than later.

would be a great appointment though

Jurgen Klinsmann backed to be next Fulham FC manager:

25 Jul 2010

St@n J@mes cut Jurgen Klinsmann from 66 to 12/1 and now 6/1 to be the next Fulham boss.

With speculation mounting over who will take over from Roy Hodgson at the club, the former German striker has been supported heavily on Sunday and the bookies are taking no chances that he gets his shot in the Premier League.

Head of PR Charlie McCann: "It is quite ironic that Klinsmann who was once approached with a view to take over at Liverpool has been backed off the boards today for the Fulham job made available by the move of Roy Hodgson to Anfield. Eriksson remains an uneasy 6/4 favourite and it may not be the one-horse race some considered a couple of days ago."

Next Fulham manager - St@n J@mes are betting:

S G Eriksson 6/4
D Jones 4/1
M Hughes 4/1
J Klinsmann 6/1 (from 66s)

What makes you guys think Klinsman would do such a great job at Fulham? Didn't pull many trees up at Bayern if i remember correctly.

Jesus - why don't people use a bit of common sense ?.

Why on earth would multi millionaire Jurgen Klinsmann want to manage mid table Fulham ?.

Answer - He wouldn't.

Not rocket science.

I can confirm that Klinsi will not be taking the Fulham job, or any other job for that matter, in the near future.

Perhaps you could enlighten me as to why a man who has a fantastic lifestyle, loads of money (and lives in the US) would want to come back into management with a mediocre team who have absolutely no chance of winning anything ?.

If you can put up a reasonable argument as to why he'd bother i'd lover to hear it ?.

If it was anyone in the UK surely they would have been appointed by now? or at least be 1.3

If will be a foreigner!

yeah, well you would of thought if it was sven or hughes, they would want them appointed and with the squad ASAP.

They obviously don't want sven.

Would be amazed if it was Klinsmann. I am getting the feeling that nobody in the running really inspires the board. Wouldn't be the biggest shock to me if Ray Lewington ends up getting it on the basis of "oh well, he knows the players and the workings of the previous successful manager".
The longer this goes on, the more likely this possibility. Just a thought.
