As usual, I'll be perming 2 from each of the lower leagues (BSS, BSN, Zamaretto, Ryman and Unibond) and I'm currently trying to make something of the odds on offer.

The one that's got me stumped is Blue Square South.

Top odds currently are:

Dover 7/1
Woking 8/1
Ebbsfleet 10/1
Chelmsford 10/1
Dartford 10/1
Farnboro 12/1
Havant + W/loo 14/1
Staines 16/1

2 years ago Dover p1ssed the Ryman league, topping 100 points if I remember rightly. I had Staines that year who were 2nd by a good 20 points. Dartford and Farnboro followed a similar suit by walking their leagues by massive margins last season. I can't see Ebbsfleet going straight back up, a lot of the promoted teams would appear to be stronger financially than them and having such impressively won their respective leagues, Farnboro and Dartford should easily top them. Any thoughts please? Love

Oh, when Zamaretto pops up, if Bideford are anything above 10/1 then I'd say that's a great bet. Paulton Rovers were in our league 2 seasons ago, and we've won it year after year except the year they were promoted. We never applied to go up until after last season, and after ground improvements, the application was accepted. IIRC Paulton were 6th last year and Bideford are miles better than them. Certainly worth an e-w punt.
