Blackpool will not get relegated. Hth. 16th they will be.
Report federalski July 24, 2010 11:16 AM BST
Have they signed Micheal Bradley ?
Would be a cracking signing for most EPL teams.
Report AdamWee July 24, 2010 11:22 AM BST
That's a lay if I've ever seen one.
Report Do it for Fred July 24, 2010 11:23 AM BST
11/10 to finish bottom hollaway already making excuses saying they are 200 million miles behind everyone else and he wants every one to understand that before they start.
Report turtleshead July 24, 2010 11:26 AM BST
1.3 less commission on a season long bet? Utterly pointless. If you can't make more of your money than that you shouldn't bother.
Report hammer83 July 24, 2010 11:27 AM BST
This team is the weakest ever seen in the prem they will get more thrashings than jordan has had co cks up her.
Report sweetchildofmine July 24, 2010 11:29 AM BST
i really dunno..i reckon their swashbuckling approach could easily net them 8/9 wins so only a few draws thrown in could see them safe

A bit of a restricted view, Turtleshead.

If you have more money than there's any possibility of you investing in the next nine months and view the 3/10 as a significantly wrong enough price it'd be folly not to take it merely because of the length of time involved.

I appreciate that most on this forum have no concept of bankroll management in the slightest (nor any concept of value for that matter) so this point doesn't apply to any of them, but if you have the roll, ante post value is ante post value. I expect Blackpool to go down, but 3/10 seems about right to me. I'm neither a backer nor a layer.

A 325% book with the likes of Newcastle, WBA and Wham in the mix.  I don't think that I will play it though as some of the big boys are sitting too short and I have not done the calcs to see what the real book is like.

1.27-1.28 now is a bit tempting though.  who do they play first?  I must go and search that out.
Report turtleshead July 24, 2010 11:36 AM BST
That's more or less what I meant, MMFP, but you expressed it better Silly
Report St3ve July 24, 2010 11:46 AM BST
They play Wigan first. It was meant to be a home fixture but their stadium is not ready so it has been switched to an away fixture. With Blackpools approach to games I can see a 2-3 victory or similar in this first game.

Thanks.  1.27 is looking too short.
Report St3ve July 24, 2010 11:54 AM BST
Heres what I think,

Wigan v Blackpool 3 points
Arsenal v Blackpool 0 points
Blackpool v Fulham 1 point
Newcastle v Blackpool 1 point
Chelsea v Blackpool 0 points
Blackpool v Blackburn 3 points
Liverpool v Blackpool 0 points
Blackpool v Man City 0 points
Birmingham v Blackpool 1 point
Blackpool v West Brom 3 points

After first 10 games 12 points is my prediction, where do we think this will place the Tangerines in the table . . .
Report mtoto2 July 24, 2010 11:56 AM BST
only lose to big 4 . just back each game individually you will make more.
Report St3ve July 24, 2010 11:56 AM BST
3 W's for relegation for me, Wigan, Wolves and West Brom.
Report Coachbuster July 24, 2010 1:31 PM BST
all these 'weak ' teams seem to survive year in year out ...the epl isnt that great near the foot i tell ye .
Report Mighty Whites 2008 July 24, 2010 1:40 PM BST
1.3 is great got some matched at prices a bit higher upto 1.4

5 of the first 6 are away.

Currently they have 17 players.

I doubt they will get 20 points
Report Ricky Santini July 24, 2010 1:52 PM BST
I think Blackpool should be around about the 1/6 mark - Holloway is tactically inept and their squad is well below what's required. Whether or not you want to back a 1/6 shot at 1/3 is another matter. Not for me.
Report turtleshead July 24, 2010 1:58 PM BST
Jesus, someone's backed Fulham at 6s - how do these people have any money to bet with?!?
Report hammer83 July 24, 2010 2:01 PM BST
I actually believe derby county's record low point tally is in danger this blackpool team on paper is the weakest piss poor team ive ever seen in the prem.
Report Ricky Santini July 24, 2010 2:51 PM BST
11 points isn't very much, hammer!
Report Mick McCarthy For Pope July 24, 2010 2:54 PM BST
They'll beat Fulham at home early on and you'll get a bigger price then. Everyone will beat Fulham early on actually.
Report vizzbucks July 24, 2010 3:00 PM BST
blackpool will probably break the record for lowest prem points ever, wigan will put 6 past them on the opening dayPlain
Report St3ve July 24, 2010 4:01 PM BST
Blackpool will win their first game. It will be a goalfest but a Blackpool victory, im quite confident actually, not sure why. 2-3 is my guess.
