So what, players shorten all the time, requires absolutely sod all money to do so.

Why do you claim he is "waiting to agree terms" but yet leave the money there - call me naieve, but if I had inside info I'd mop it up, must be just me I guess LaughLaughLaughLaugh

its a rumour that ive heard from a few different people , ive had enough on at bigger prices so idont want any of that 10,11,12,13 but im not ramping , just passing on what ive heard, ive been in work all day so thought id put iton here now
By:

And why do you think that the people who supposedly told you this red hot info aren't taking the double figure prices either, out of interest Confused

A total of £159 has been matched on him, despite the "fact" that he is "waiting to agree terms"! that tells me all I need to know, thanks.

if theres nothing there to take , whats the point , has been 20s with fred n c0ral all day , so not much point taking the 12/1, 13/1 on here, im off , was just passing on some info that i heard , we shall see over the next few days gl

This wouldn't surprise me.

City are paing him ( so I'm told) £750k p.a

They have just had a transfer embargo put on them for tax reasons again.

So he maybe looking to jump ship, and at that salary I suspect Cardiff would let him with a bot of compo.

"not much point taking the 12/1, 13/1 on here"

What's the point in taking those odds on what is nearly a cert? Getting double figures on someone who is "waiting to agree terms" and who therefore should be about 1/5? Are you serious? ShockedShocked

"was just passing on some info that i heard"

Nah, there is a world of difference between genuine info, and gossip. And this is the latter.

MARK Hughes has been ruled out of the running to become the new Fulham boss.

Bookies once had Sparky as one of the favourites to succeed Roy Hodgson at Craven Cottage, but the former Manchester City manager has not made it on to the club's three-man shortlist.

Cardiff chief Dave Jones and former Whites playing legend Lee Clark, who is the 6/4 favourite on one set of odds, also miss out, along with a string of big names that was 20-strong and rising at the last count.

Yes somebody put a tenner on him.  tbh I thought that is was insufficient volume to justify a clear signal and a swoop but by all means go ahead.

I have a red on Curbs too and I just want to square that up, but I reckon you are probably safe.

The trick is to keep an eye on the new names that arrive at the bottom of your screen.

SVEN-GORAN Eriksson has moved into pole position in the race to become Fulham’s new manager.

Chronicle sport has learned the former England boss has gone down well with chairman Mohamed Al Fayed as a replacement for Roy Hodgson – and could be installed in time to see his new side play Brentford at Griffin Park in the first pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.

However, Fulham’s board are still pondering a shortlist that’s down to three this morning – one of whom is Alan Curbishley, even though he strangely distanced himself from the job in comments made on Wednesday.

On top of which, the former Charlton and West Ham manager does not have the same relationship with Fulham chief executive Alistair Mackintosh as Eriksson does.

Both were together at a revived Manchester City until first the Swede followed by Mackintosh, departed at the whim of then City owner Thaksin Shinawatra in the summer of 2008.

Fulham have already ruled out former Manchester City boss, Mark Hughes, Dave Jones at Cardiff, and former Whites playing legend Lee Clark, who is the 6/4 favourite on one set of odds, along with a string of big names that was 20-strong and rising at the last count.

But Eriksson comes with an international CV most of the rest can only dream of – and a list of contacts like Hodgson’s that brought bargains such as defender Brede Hangeland to Craven Cottage.

By pure coincidence, Fulham go on pre-season tour to Sweden following the game at Bournemouth on July 17 – and the Whites are particularly keen to have someone in place by then.

An insider said: “It’s getting pretty close to the end of the selection process.”

No probs J2, I was just having a bit of a jest.

But i don't understand why you take 5% there when you can get 5% here with many more markets, tighter margins and more liquidity.  Could you explain that one please J2?
By:

I can Alex. As a gambler, I am very good at picking winners on football markets but my weakness is that I lack discipline and if I see a game being talked about on the forums I will inevitably have a bit on just for the fun of it. I believe this is called being a mug.

When I was on **** last time, away from the betfair forums I had the best run of my life on there and Sporting Bet. Therefore, I will be leaving the forums very soon and gambling exclusively on the purple site. I shall stick to my expertise on Premiership and Championship football and leave every other market alone.

More markets is my problem. I need 1X2 markets and Asian handicap for Prem and Championship.

The margins are very similar on major football markets.

As for liquidity, i'm not a big enough player to notice on the above well backed markets.

I see or I don't quite.  So what really are your primary reasons for using the purple place instead of betfair?  I am still not quite understanding your reasoning for betting on a site the is quite clearly inferior.
