cash what price did you get on 1-0 lecce ?????
Report chop180 May 30, 2010 1:35 PM BST
I'd certainly lay the 1.2 and back it in running, inconceivable you won't get a better price after kick off (around 1.4 at least imo).
Report DrCash. May 30, 2010 1:36 PM BST
30s, you? draw price into 1.19 yikes Shocked

Even if it's done for 0-0, you WILL get a bigger price in play, no question!

bigger price for the draw you mean ?
Report chop180 May 30, 2010 1:45 PM BST
Yes. Like I said, minimum 1.4 imo.

Risky I know but laying all odds on shots in this division's matches for equal liability. Only needs a short price one to lose to be in profit.

Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 3:57 PM BST
Tw-ats, because being 2-1 down with 10 minutes to go, 8-9/1 is a disgusting price! and there was hardly any liquidity so you would have to leave a price up and get matched at something worse than what its worth.
Report modk May 30, 2010 3:57 PM BST
blindly greening is geenrally the way to poor bus but any lay at 1.05 goes anywhere near evens you HAVE to green out imo

i'd be greening at 1.1 but i only trade small margins, large stakes
Report modk May 30, 2010 3:58 PM BST
gallipoli and sallernata are both bnt clubs, no italian bookies have been taking bets on them since christmas
Report chop180 May 30, 2010 3:59 PM BST
What price did you expect to get on a dodgy game where the pre match favourite was 1/20 for goodness sake?

You were lucky to get 9/1!
Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 3:59 PM BST
I had faith in Italian football there, and it let me down. I saw the goals, they let them score them.
Report modk May 30, 2010 3:59 PM BST
look at gallipolis form, they was like in top 10 until xmas (and that infamous 2-2 draw) then they just lose every game
Report modk May 30, 2010 4:00 PM BST
but hard luck, you're one a few who would have layed them but you got lucky at 1-0 2-1, should have greened my friend

Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 4:02 PM BST
There was no liquidity to trade. That would have been so sweet.
Report modk May 30, 2010 4:02 PM BST

fans turning up at matches knowing that their team is probably just gonna lose on purpose, how is that acceptable week in week out

Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 4:07 PM BST
Rome how could I see them doing it. They went 2-0 up and even though they conceded early, they held out for another 30 minutes and modena were struggling to break through, how would I know they would score 2 goals in 2 minutes? If someone offered me proper odds of 20/1 + of a team to win from 2-1 down with 10 to go, I would have greened, not at bits and bobs here and there with no liquidity.
Report Just Checking May 30, 2010 4:09 PM BST
.. I'm guessing if at 2-0 down they were still at very low odds, and it was italian football (i.e. completely corrupt) you COULD have guessed they'd come back?!
Report chop180 May 30, 2010 4:10 PM BST
"If someone offered me proper odds of 20/1 + of a team to win from 2-1 down with 10 to go, I would have greened"

You think someone is going to offer you 20/1 on a team to score twice in a match which almost certainly has been pre arranged??? ShockedShockedShocked

You could have even greened up when it went to 3-2, the odds were about 1.1 then!!!!
Report kingofROME May 30, 2010 4:12 PM BST
HG i have no problem with you but a team 1/20 in serie b which is more of  political league than  football league 9/1-10/1 is best you get. You said you seen the goals and they let them go in. After you watch  first goal and at very least second goal you should no to get out. Lessons learnt are good however
Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 4:12 PM BST
As I said already, when the team sturggled to score all match and even with the momentum after scoring their first goal, I would have thought that the odds on them pre-match were simply because the opposition were pish and the home team HAD to win, seen as they struggled thought, I wasn't taking crappy odds and losing loads of green when they didn't look like getting 1 let alone 2.
Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 4:13 PM BST
For the millionth time, there was no liquduity at all. they were 4.2 to back with 12/13 mins to go and 50 to lay. How was I supposed to know, in a dodgy match (not just fixed but unpredictable), what the true odds were and I was only likely to get matched by someone more in the know who would be taking advantage of me and laying/backing odds that weren't good for me.
Report Just Checking May 30, 2010 4:13 PM BST
HG your big mistake is viewing these games as football matches.

What part of 'f1xed' are you not understanding?!
Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 4:17 PM BST
I've said my reasoning, not repeating things 20 times. Ok if my reasoning, after watching most of the match was nieve then so be it. Its been a very profitable weekend none the less so I move on, and learn don't get involved in dodgy odds matches again, thought I saw an opportunity there.
Report chop180 May 30, 2010 4:17 PM BST
Why did you not take a small profit after the score went to 3-2???

Did you just think "I'll hang on just in case by some miracle it goes 3-3 and I'll clean up"?

Sorry, but if that was your thinking, words fail me!
Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 4:20 PM BST
Because unlike most of the bullcrappers on here, my stakes aren't big enough to back at 1.09 and lay at 1.05 and make much money.
Report chop180 May 30, 2010 4:24 PM BST
So you laid a team pre kick off at 1.05 in the almost certain knowledge that the match was fixed, the side goes 2-0 down and you refuse to take a huge profit, the team goes 3-2 up and you can still make a small profit, and you decide to do nothing in the hope a last second equalizer goes in?

Jesus. ShockedShockedShocked
Report Zizou. May 30, 2010 4:29 PM BST
yes even at 3-2 you could have doubled your money
Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 4:32 PM BST
Your a moron, read my justifications prat.
Report chop180 May 30, 2010 4:36 PM BST
The only moron is someone who laid at 1.05 and failed to make a profit on that game. If you couldn't do this I don't hold much hope for your chances long term!

Oh, and it's "You're"

HTH.
Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 4:38 PM BST

Report Just Checking May 30, 2010 4:38 PM BST
Oh dear chop, correcting mistakes.

That's low. Or should I say 'fixing' mistakes - lot of fixing going on today apparently!
Report HGsuperhoopza May 30, 2010 4:40 PM BST
and that comment about making money os also ridiculous. Taking small profit in circumstances where things go for you and missing out on the big profits won't make you win long term because they'll be a fair few occasions when things don't go for you and you lose more than the small profit you made before.
Report kingofROME May 30, 2010 4:41 PM BST
Is this still going on? HG last comment is correct but under circumstances. This game was not

Report Just Checking May 30, 2010 4:46 PM BST
